• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RT Ltd - will Entertainment harness enable XM radio on Garmin 665?

I had the entertainment cable installed on my 2012 and 2014 RTL's It integrated the BRP XM radio module, BRP CB radio, and the BRP dongle. The BRP Garmin 660 GPS was a standalone system, that integrated with the RT for audio.

Is there a List of Fault Code explanations? (I just got U220E!)

Just a point of information, I used copilot and asked it to identify these codes from a 2017 RT Ltd U0100, U0122, P0000, P20EB. It returned: Short answer: Your 2017 Spyder RT Limited’s codes point to lost communication on the CANBUS (U‑codes) and an emissions‑related DEF/NOx after‑treatment...

How does Communication work with newer Can Am's - Bluetooth?

Unfortunately, BRP phased out hard-wired communication around 2018-2019. Our rides now relay on Bluetooth connectivity. For communication with your passenger or others you have to purchase a comm system like Cardo, Sena or less expensive systems.

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

In 1970, when I got my driver's license, regular gas in the US was about 36 cents/gallon. It stood at around that price until the oil embargo of 1974, where it jumped to about 55 cents/gallon. It has never come down. So, it may come down at some time but it'll not come down to the pre-Iran war...

Buying a new helmet - who replaces them every 5 years per manufacturers spec??

Can you provide any backup information on your statement: "Most manufacturers claim that 5-year replacement to increase profits." I have searched and searched and found nothing that proves this. All I find is: "The 5‑year replacement guideline is based on material science and safety testing...

2010 RT key mechanism failing to open frunk - any suggestions on fixes? Or just go to a manual release?

Check to make sure the weather stripping in the frunk is seated properly. If not , it may cause excess pressure on the locking mechanism

Does anyone know where/how to register, book hotels etc for Spyders In Atlantic City 2026?

We've attended the three Spyders in AC rally held so far. Here is my experience with this rally. The website is terrible. Communication with the organizer is terrible and I have his personal contact information. The rally was patterned as a bare-bones SpyderQuest. No vendors, just rides, and...

What is the 'proper' method to secure a Spyder on or in a trailer for transport?

Here's a video of one method, while it is for a stinger trailer I'm sure it can be applied to most trailers.

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

I don't think it's a mechanical issue. I think it's just a matter of pressing the Mode button once too much. I am guilty of doing that and when I found I was in ECO mode without me activating it, I paid attention to what I was doing, and I found at times I pressed the Mode button once too much...

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

I seldom use eco, the times I have, I just pressed the mode button and released. This works at any speed or even from a standing position. I don't know why it was recommended to do it while traveling at 45mph+. Once you get it in eco mode you can decide if you prefer that mode. If it doesn't...
