• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have actual measured data for the various OEM Handlebar options Pull back on 2024+ RT's?

I'm 5'9" and broke my right elbow causing my right arm to be about 2" shorter. My solution on my "22 RTL is the Can Am short reach bar, the handlebar riser from Lamonster and pushing the handlebar forward to a more upright position. This enables my right arm to stretch out more which compensates...

Spyderlovers is the best forum I've ever seen!

I agree. Facebook has taken many potential members. Spyderlovers is the granddaddy of all things Spyder. Much easier to search for things and when I leave Spyderlovers, I can easily return to the site and find where I left off. On FB I have to save the conversation to get it quickly or I may...

I need to find an alternative to the dealership for routine maintenance

I feel your pain, brother. I can’t do my own maintenance anymore either. My 2022 RTL (bought 4/23) has only needed a few oil changes. In 2024 I needed brakes - $256 at a non‑dealer. In 2025 I needed a rear tire - $345.56 at the dealer. The dealer I used for years stopped selling Spyders, so no...

Can I mount an iPhone on the handlebars of a 2020 up to 2023 RT and play music from it over the Spyder's sound system?

You can definitely install your iPhone on the handlebars. On my '22 RT, I use the quadlock system with the wireless charge head (eliminates USB connection) mounted with Lamonsters Spyder cuff and ram mounts. As far as using a USB for playing music, I guess you can do what I do. I have an old...

Is there a List of Fault Code explanations? (I just got U220E!)

Just a point of information, I used copilot and asked it to identify these codes from a 2017 RT Ltd U0100, U0122, P0000, P20EB. It returned: Short answer: Your 2017 Spyder RT Limited’s codes point to lost communication on the CANBUS (U‑codes) and an emissions‑related DEF/NOx after‑treatment...

How does Communication work with newer Can Am's - Bluetooth?

Unfortunately, BRP phased out hard-wired communication around 2018-2019. Our rides now relay on Bluetooth connectivity. For communication with your passenger or others you have to purchase a comm system like Cardo, Sena or less expensive systems.

When is the Price of gas going to stop rising?

In 1970, when I got my driver's license, regular gas in the US was about 36 cents/gallon. It stood at around that price until the oil embargo of 1974, where it jumped to about 55 cents/gallon. It has never come down. So, it may come down at some time but it'll not come down to the pre-Iran war...

Buying a new helmet - who replaces them every 5 years per manufacturers spec??

Can you provide any backup information on your statement: "Most manufacturers claim that 5-year replacement to increase profits." I have searched and searched and found nothing that proves this. All I find is: "The 5‑year replacement guideline is based on material science and safety testing...

Check to make sure the weather stripping in the frunk is seated properly. If not , it may cause excess pressure on the locking mechanism
