• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Friend looking into Spyders, either a 2016 RT or a 2019 RTL with pretty close mileage & price - any advice/comments/concerns?

I would lean to the 2019. The 2016 will be 10 yrs. old soon and dealers tend to not work on CanAms older than 10.

2024 RT L back at the dealer for the 9th time in 3 months!! How long until you give up?

Perhaps I've misread all the comments and suggestions, but all blame seems to be placed on BRP. However, in this case it's not all on them. Graderman listed 8 problems. 5 seem to be BRP issues and 3 Dealer issues. Whether Dealer or BRP issues, none should occur with a new ride. From what I've...

Anyone tried Rotating their front directional tires? Worth it?

I find the search feature brings up many posts that are not applicable so I end rephrasing the search and culling through the chaff. Definitely, not a great search feature.

Anyone tried Rotating their front directional tires? Worth it?

This post should answer your question especially posts #11 and #17. https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/what-happens-if-i-swap-sides-with-directional-tires.153698/

Speedometer accuracy - when I set my Cruise to a certain speed, the speedo doesn't match - any others??

Speedometer accuracy has been an ongoing discussion issue here since Oct. 2009, the furthest back a search for speedometer accuracy goes. I've read that changing tires can improve the accuracy. Another issue that has been discussed frequently is the accuracy of the clock. I believe the clock...

Is it possible to Remove the tail trunk & passenger back rest from 2023 RTL?

Here's the link to the RT replacement cover for the top case. https://can-am-shop.brp.com/on-road/us/en/linq-rack-can-am-spyder-rt-219401145.html

2025 Spyder RT: Any Cautions to note before purchase?

I have a 2022 RTL so I cannot respond to your Carplay question, nor can I answer your traction control question. Reliability: I know some previous models from a few years back suffered from Limp Mode, Error Codes, cooling fans that won’t turn off, and similar. I really don’t want to drop 30k on...

Losing a bit of faith in Can Am - enjoy the riding, but not the endless waiting while they find parts and fix all the niggling issues!

Water shouldn't affect the switch under normal hose washing. If you used a power washer, then I would say 'maybe'. Perhaps you didn't engage CC properly? Anyway, once I've turned the CC switch to the ON position, I never turn it off. In other words, whenever I ride it is always ready to be set...

What could cause this Squeal on starting out in first gear?

When you get it changed, please provide an update. I have the same noise and discussed it with my tech. He told me 2 other riders I happen to know complained about the same noise. On one of the rides, BRP had him change the alternator, and other parts connected to the alternator, but the noise...

So, how fast can a spyder go and safely make a sharp right turn at an intersection?

2024 RT Limited 'Suspension Fault' messages flashing on the screen - suspension compressor or no?

Your statement "That air bag system is really not made for bikes" may be true for 2-wheel bikes and other trikes, but not so for Can Ams that have the ACS (Air Control Suspension) or the manual air suspension system. The ACS and the manual air suspension systems have been on RT LTD's since 2010...

When Only On Street Angled Parking is available, do you back in, or drive in?

The parking is angled for pulling-in else you have to maneuver your ride in reverse, blocking traffic. In all pull-in parking spaces, I park with the rear of my ride even with the rear of the vehicles to my right and/or left. This prevents a vehicle driver from thinking it's an open space and...
