• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has Anyone Had Sales Or Service Issues With Dealerships In Iowa,Minnesota & Wisconsin

RT-S 2013 Eric; I thought since you have been probably the most helpful in advice I thought it best inform you that the purchase is a No Go! Not the fault of Metro, blame it on Kelly Blue Book and the economy. Seems that KBB has my wing valued at only $12,800. Since I paid $26,500.00 for...

    Octane Reqirements

Hi; I see that you own a RT limited 2012. I saw one at a dealership online used with just 300 miles on it. The dealer is asking $27,500.00 is that a fair price or should it be lower. Also white. Bike is at Leer's Powersports, waterloo, Iowa

Hi; I'm the newbie here. So is the RS version considered a more performance vehicle than the RT? Just curious?

Is A Extended Warranty A Worthwhile Buy?

Hi; I've got a basic RS spyder question for you. Do you ever get complaints from a passenger because they don't have that big baclrest like avqailable on a RT?

Just a quick note. I'm heading for CR Friday morning after I get off work. I'm going to Metro Powersports hopefully to have a test ride on a Spyder. I dropped your handle name with a salesman called Brian. I mentioned that their business came highly recommended. Jim

    Fuel Cap Location on a RT-S 2013

I'm really glad I brought this subject up. Hmmm.... I wonder how many dealers are equipped to do quality fuel door modifications? Aside from Cowtown I wonder where there located?

Do Spyder Owner's Have A National Association Similar To GWRRA Or BMW MOA?

Quick question does Spyder Ryder Of America offer a members book or listing like the "Anonymous" book by BMW MOA or the "Gold Book" by GWRRA. Both of these publications are very good. I think the Gold book is a bit better as it states whom your calling for assistance not just a phone number.

    Octane Reqirements

You have an advantage living close to CR as BP is more readily to be found. I survive on Kwik-Star a chain out of LaCrosse, Wosconsin where the highest they carry is just 92 octane at least in my area. By the way what kind of fuel mileage should I expect to see?

    Octane Reqirements

Hmmm... I like having choices. In Iowa 89 Octane is the cheapest. Right now running $3.04 a gallon.

Tony; I'm glad you rang in about your opinion concerning Leer's. I had given them some thought as a alternative. I guess I won't bother now. Did Metro have much of a selection of neww and used Spyder's? By the way do you happen to know the hourly shop rate at Metro? Thanks Jim

Yes, I reside in that famous Eagle community. The latest off-spring haven't faired as well as past years as two of the three young eaglettes was found electricuted. From what I understand a reliable source is that Mom & Dad Eagle now have a 2nd nest nearby both very close to the Trout Run Fish...

Will Spyder's run well on 87 or is their appetite for expensive preminum?

    Fuel Cap Location on a RT-S 2013

I was just browsing through some members photo's and came across a "Orange" spyder bein refueled with its riders set ajar. Am I seeing something wrong or does a rider actually move the seat in order to fill the bike?

I see by your profile you too like vintage cars. Would you care for another? I'd like to find a worthy new home for my 1971 Triumph TR6. If that doesn't happen squizzing a RT-S into the spot where the current Goldwing sits isn't going to be easy.
