• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My New 2025 Sea-to-Sky - any suggestions on what gear or upgrades to get first?

Many good comments about waiting for 1K miles, but to me, my needs became quickly obvious. Backrest, simply makes long rides more comfortable. If you feel the bike is "darty" or leans too much, there is a reason the Baja Ron Sway Bar is often mentioned, it makes a world of difference. I hated...

Has anyone modified the brake pedal to make it easier to use?

Agree on the install. Only challenge I had was the original pin in the brake rod of the bike was installed from the inside to out. There was not enough room to remove the pin without removing the muffler. I ended up taking a Sawzall to the OEM pin and just cut it... this was quicker than...

Has anyone modified the brake pedal to make it easier to use?

I have the ISCI Hand Brake on my 2024, as well as the wide Show Chrome pedal. The pedal is ok, and it does help me a little, as I do not have to rotate my 🦶 as much. It was worth the $$$, The ISCI Hand Brake is expensive, but to me, it makes a world of difference. I will note that it is NOT a...

Can I get GPS on my 2024 S2S 10.25" screen; or GPS Software/Hardware, Apples to Oranges, or maybe not...

There are multiple phone GPS apps that use downloaded maps for navigation, including Google Maps. Losing cell signal is NOT an issue. I have used Sygic and Maps both without cell signal. I just started trying MyRoute, not sure about offline though. There are others that can be found by a google...

Anyone purchased from an out of town dealer? Is this common? Any concerns?

I bought a brand new (4 miles) 2024 from iMotorsports in Chicago. They were exceptional, and $1000's less than I could find here locally in Fl. No gimmicks, and very easy to deal with. Call or submit an on line request, and they will give you the OTD price via email, which was exactly what I...

Aluminum Sway Bar links on my Ryker 600 seem loose - any help or advice?

The links SHOULD move/rotate - that is their purpose. There should not be any slop in them, just a little light resistance to turn. Movement should be very smooth, as they are on bearings. The bolts on the top/bottom should be tight. Several brands for the Can Am's require "spacers" between the...

Think of changing from a Freewheeler - is the Spyder any easier &/or safer?

I've had two Spyders RTLs, a 2019 and now a 2024. I've also had a Tri Glide (2021), and a Lehman Trike conversion on an Ultraclassic. Believe it or not, I liked the Lehman trike conversion better than the Tri Glide, but both were similar. The Tri Glides ride more like a bike in a straight line...

Has anyone used BRP Go on the Canyon?

I usually use Maps or Waze day to day - both are excellent. I mention Sygic though, for 2 reasons. First, it is very easy and capable with GPX files... more simple than Maps, IMO, and I believe it takes more waypoints. Specifically, you can create (or grab) a GPX file in/from any program, email...

Pros & Cons on installing either Carpuride or INNOV N1?

For all, I have a Carpuride 702 my my RTL. The Carpuride relies on Nav software on your phone (eg, Maps, Waze}. If you are worried about cell service, in Maps you can download the maps along your route before you leave, and if you lose cell service, the phone continues to navigatgte through...

Has anyone used BRP Go on the Canyon?

An alternative is a CARPURIDE, Chiggi or similar. These add on screens support Android Auto and Carplay wirelessly (Can Am is just wired carplay). And a huge difference, they work! Unlike the Garmin Carplay, which is flakey at best. I have a Carpuride 702 on my 2024 RT (which has the same...

Apple CarPlay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

Your phone would have been getting GPS signal just like a Garmin... but you'd not downloaded the maps that the phone needed to operate. In most phone "GPS" apps like Waze, Maps etc you can download maps and save them on your phone while you have signal, and in that case you would have no issues...

Apple CarPlay - the good, the bad, and the really ugly

Not sure of comment, but most (all?) smart cell phones today have internal GPS receivers... so if you download maps, you are GtG.

2025 Spyder RT: Any Cautions to note before purchase?

A simple solution for the headset requirement if you want to use bike speakers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081GGB53R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. Plug into trunk port, pair as headset 1, and set output of bike to speakers. As to the rest of the CarPlay implementation, still a...

Anyone purchased from an out of town dealer? Is this common? Any concerns?

They told me it could be up to 6 weeks. It took a couple of days over 2 weeks. Very happy with the results.

Anyone purchased from an out of town dealer? Is this common? Any concerns?

I second iMotorsports. They were extremely easy to deal with, and had a good selection of "last year's models". In my case, I bought a 2024 model at significant savings over getting a '25 locally. I wanted to go local, and I was willing to pay up to $1.5K extra for that (on some of the '24s they...
