• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone tried a Michelin HydroEdge Tire?

It's not available in a size that fits the rear of the Spyder.

2020 RTL Is there a way to remove foam grips w/o ruining them?

Start at the inside and roll them off.

    Manual Transmission question for Spyder

As I mentioned in my earlier post, 2017 F3-T is the last year for the manual trans - not '18.

    Manual Transmission question for Spyder

I believe the last year of the manual transmission in the F3-S was 2020, and the last year for the manual in the F3-T was 2017.

2022 model announcement on Wednesday- any rumors or thoughts?

The picture in the teasers looks like a turbo Ryker to me. This picture defiantly looks like a Ryker with a scoop on the hood for an intercooler!

Pull behind trailer tire air pressure

:agree: 15 pounds works well for me. The previous owner of the trailer ran 20# and the tires wore more in the center, and I think it rides better at 15#.

Markings on LH control cluster worn off! 2020 RT

That's not right! In the 70,000 miles I have on Spyders, I have not experienced that on any of them. I think your dealer is feeding you a line of bull, and I think BRP would cover it. I and 6 of my friends have 2020 RT Limiteds and none of us have that problem, and we all have more miles on than...

    Background and a few questions

I'm going to disagree with Cruzr Joe on the F3. The F3/F3-S is not even close to a crotch rocket. The sitting comfort on the F3 is identical to the F3-T & F3 Limited. They have the same seating/backrest options, feet options, and handlebar options for the rider. Seats, foot pegs or boards, and...

Best / Worst year for F3?

2015 was the first year for the F3 & F3S. The frame crack issue was only on the 2015's. Not really an issue though. It was taken care of with a mandatory warranty recall. All 2015's should have been fixed with a bolt-on plate under the seat.

    7x14 V nose Enclosed Trailer - will an RTL & F3L fit?

It's going to be a challenge. The issue is going to be the 7' width. Both the RTL and F3L are nearly 9.5 feet long, so a total length of 19 feet. The rear ends will need to sit side by side in the the trailer. The saddle bag width of the each machine is approximately 3'. Your going to have...

    Maiden voyage

One other possibility... How long did you let it warm up before you drove your 1/2 mile. If you didn't let it warm up very long and than only drove that short distance the engine may not have warmed up. You can feel surging until the engine is warmed up a little.

Is anyone using this ROAR PEDAL CONTROLLER?

I wasn't able to find an application for the Spyder on their website. Do they make one for the Spyder?
