• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ram mount for RTS

    I used a stainless steel clamp, drilled two holes and rivetted a ram mount on so I had a cup holder on the handlebar.

    Adding OEM CB and GPS

    If you look around you can find the GPS elsewhere for lots less money. maybe even the CB. It is the same equipment for less. I got my GPS on line for $533. The dealer gave me a big break on the CB and two headsets for $780. And if you need help, this forum is great!

    An issue with me may be that I have one of the demos...so mine was made prior to the PE machines. Maybe they did something during that preproduction for the demos that was different....

    Got my Kury RT grips installed

    Reps from Kury were at Barney's in St. Pete just the other day. I spoke to them about making grips just for the RT. They told me that the company has a bunch of new Spyder accessories they will release shortly.

    When I installed the CB, I found that the ground strap near the fuse box was tight, but an odd size little screw with nut. I decided to put the right size bolt into the threaded fitting and found I couldn't because there was weld slag inside. I guess instead of chasing the threads the decided...

    Rear Speaker Install

    It is really pretty easy. You just have to take things apart in the correct order. Also, I like to put screws in zip lock bags that are labeled so i know where they go back. Taking the handgrips off makes it easier.
