• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

New End links arrived a week or so back from Baja Ron's via Australian dealer. Haven't had a chance to fit them yet but hopefully get it done on the weekend. Then test em out  We've been having a damp Spring down under here in NZ but managed to get out for a quick ride this morning. The...

Is there a paper Ryker Shop manual?

Not sure about the Ryker, but there are plenty of two wheeled bikes where the hi/low beam on the Headlights are designed either for left or right hand roads.

Ryker 900 - sounds like it wants to start but won't turn over! Charged the battery, still nothing. Helllpppp!

Good advice. The phrase 'dead battery' doesn't necessarily mean a lifeless battery. This needs to be sorted first. The battery can easily have enough charge for the lights etc to work, but not enough to turn the engine over. The battery may also hold more charge after recharging, enough to...

How can I tell the year of my Ryker?

So there are two years to consider. Arguably the most important one is the MY date. That is the Manufactured Year as opposed to the year it was first registered. It is common to purchase a vehicle in one year, say - 2025, only to find out it is a 2022 MY. You need to find this out prior to...

Fuel Gauge & Miles to Empty Stuck - any ideas on fix?

Even when the gauge is working, it's rubbish. I've found the best fix is to zero either of the trip meters when I refuel. I know my Rally will do close enough to 300 klms (187miles) on a tank, so I just keep an eye on that. It's way more accurate.

I ran my own Stabilizer/sway bar testing.

Great to read some specific real world insights. Did you manage to speed through any tight gravel corners?

Are there any Definitive Sway Bar Upgrade Outcomes available for the Ryker (Rally's specifically)?

My Aussie dealer should be ordering them from you this week... red ones :love:

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

Love it! Haven't had any issues at all, apart from the fuel pump recall, which was more annoying than problematic. I enjoy the power delivery particularly, it's there when you want it, but not snatchy like some of the bikes I used to ride, and the stock suspension is very good for OEM. Being...

Are there any Definitive Sway Bar Upgrade Outcomes available for the Ryker (Rally's specifically)?

For those interested: Having weighed the pro's and cons I'm looking at replacing just the end links as I'm concerned about losing some of the off road gains made installing a steering dampener. I've read plenty of comments from those who have gone down this path and while not getting the full...

    My Ryker Rally Adventure Thread

Ride up to one of our local wind Turbine sites. Quite a winding tight access road but good fun on the Rally

Are there any Definitive Sway Bar Upgrade Outcomes available for the Ryker (Rally's specifically)?

My quote is from one of your suppliers in Australia. It includes freight but not NZ GST and isn't including the installation. It is comparable with both your own and Slingmods pricing with the exchange rates included... it's actually NZ$633.00! Hence my enthusiasm for some preciser info. :) It...
