• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    If I recall correctly... and that's a big if... there was some discussion about a minor adjustment to the front guard (or 'the fender' in the USA) which sorts it; it may have even been a loose cable tie or some other minor issue.     the gap between the tire and the rear guard isn't very large so you might want to check what clearance you need for the studs if you decide to give it a whirl. If you do... please post up some pics of the studded beast :cool:

    Never thought I'd ever use or need a backrest until I fitted one. The only negative was I had to remove my back protector as it too uncomfortable squished between the rest and by lower back. I use a different one now but not as good :(

    I would add... the steering on Rykers is very sensitive so you will feel any bumps (large enough to deflect either or both front wheels) through the bars. I had much the same issues as you on my Rally when riding rough roads. The fix for me was fitting a steering dampener to absorb the hits...

    Anyone know what the Oil Temp should be on Rykers?

    I don't have a temp but I can tell you Ryker's run fairly hot. If you leave it idling for a few minutes the fan will start fairly quickly, normal operating temp is 5 bars on the gauge, which is also the recommended temp for changing the oil.
