• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Old Gold Wing rider considering a 2012 RT need help finding a fair value for it and advice.

My 2012 RSS covered 245,000 klm before I sold it and it was still running just fine. Not as comfortable as my 2013 RT Ltd (I had no hesitation on buying an older machine). There are many here who say their dealers will not work on a unit over 10 years old, but I have never had an issue, I...

Thoughts on my first SS1000 with the Spyder

I have the same problem with milage as previous I had an Honda ST1300 which meant that I could travel further than another else riding with me. I used to do a lot of long distance travel, including Iron Butt runs. Last one I did was on a Spyder RSS to which I'd added a 4 gal reserve tank that...

Question about the 4 PSI rule for tire inflation

I run 20 in front and 24 in back and my tires are the standard tires which get about 20,000 to 25,000 on them.

Any Modification recommendations from those who tour on their Spyders?

Been riding for 62 years now, the last 12 on spyders. I used to ride with a vented exterior gear which was completely mesh so wind would go through in all areas. This was great for driving through 100 degree temperatures in Texas and when it rained I got wet, but I dried when the rain stopped...

Any useful comments or suggestions to help reduce back pain while riding 2023 F3-T - Short Reach Handlebars maybe?

I have back issues and on my first Spyder, I used handle bar risers, which made me sit upright, and a back brace on long trips, which kept my back straight. Worked well for me.

My Cruise control won't allow me to accelerate just by twisting the throttle - Is this normal?

I have no problem with acceleration with cruise control on. Mine works just like my car.

Rear brake caliper piston will not fully retract any ideas? Or just rebuild &/or replace?

You might try to contact Can-Am directly in Canada, they might be able to direct you to a supplier close to you or offer suggestions as to what parts or similar parts you may be looking for.

Worn seat - can anyone recommend a comfortable a/mkt replacement?

Ultimate is what I used on my last one, it was great.

RTL - brake pad replacement intervals. Just replaced my pads at 21,000 miles. Is this a fair mileage?

You are in the right area with that milage. As the brakes are what stop you, I aways buy the best, as my life is worth more than a few bucks.

How common are 2021 RT Ltd air suspension failures?

I would even go as far to call a few dealerships and ask the approximate price for the bike your looking at there are also a few online places where you can get an estimate of what a bike like that is worth. Still search bikes for sale in Canada amazing what you can learn with research Even at...

How common are 2021 RT Ltd air suspension failures?

If in Canada that should be 5000 klm which is like a brand new bike. Sounds a bit high in the price for me, what dealer and where is it. I would check dealers across Canada just to get an idea what others are selling and price range. If it was a trade in I bet they only paid 60% of that.

From a Goldwing to a Spyder RT Limited...

The Tail on a Spyder is a lot different but still enjoyable. I thought I would miss my two wheeler as well after riding for 55 years. I was young and stupid and used to ice race motorcycles. I swapped by ST 1300 for a RSS and rode it for five years. I am up over 1,000,000 miles on a motorcycle...
