• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are 2024/25 F3's missing the 2 Accessory Circuits? What have you done about this on yours?

Hi Jaxansandy, I appreciate you're specifically looking for an existing AC1/2 circuit but have you considered a Power Distribution Module? Wired direct to the battery and then mounted where suits it'll be your central hub to connect all your accessories. Lots of makes available, most are...

Is Running Diesel Oil in Your Spyder such a good idea?

Exactly (y) I'm always incredulous when people think they know better than the engine manufacturer, what grade and specification of oil the manufacturer recommends for their engine and then the oil companies that spend thousands on R&D and make an oil that meets that required spec. Knock...

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

'Every day's a school day' as they say, not something I was aware of (y) Ah, ok, that rules that out then  Hope you get to the bottom of it (y) Andres

Battery drained after 3 & 1/2 weeks standing, cranking slow, and throwing VSS Error - is this normal? Any help appreciated...

If it only took an hour on the charger to get back to full charge it doesn’t sound like it was deeply discharged. Was it particularly cold? LiOn batteries works best when warm and simply putting a load across them for a minute or so (such as switching your lights on) will warm them...

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

I've fitted Wilbers shocks to a number of road bikes over the years, fingers crossed the weather plays ball soon 'cos you're in for a treat :D Andres

    Manifold Valley ~ Staffordshire, England

Not much of a ride report but I thought the following might be of interest :) We've got some unseasonably warm spring weather here in the UK at the moment so it seemed rude not to take a day off work and head out to one of my favourite parts of the country; The Derbyshire Dales National Park...

Here's My F3-S Left Side Brake Pedal Conversion

And I suspect there may be a few of us on here with similar stories ;) A Yamaha RD250LC was my ticket to one legged fun, back in 1979 (did you get them in the States, a liquid cooled 2 stroke twin?). Andres

Here's My F3-S Left Side Brake Pedal Conversion

That looks sweet (y) Funnily enough it was 92ci S&S Sporty that ended my biking days a year ago :D Thanks, I wish I could lay claim to the fabrication but I know my limits and Second City did a fantastic job (y) Andres

Here's My F3-S Left Side Brake Pedal Conversion

I lost my right leg (BK) many moons ago and have been riding bikes ever since, never bothering with the back brake just using the front. Having spent the last year in a wheelchair after a big off, and now starting to get mobile again on a new tin leg, I've closed the door on 40 years of two...

F3 Base - Rear shock bottoms out (stationary) with my passenger onboard. I'm shock illiterate, what do I need in a shock?

Agreed, it’s really about spring rate and having a spring that works within the range you need ie 150-420lbs (heavier if you factor in any luggage). All preload is there to do is adjust and maintain ride height as long as the spring rate is correct for the weights carried. It won’t compensate...

    What's the correct name/part # for these F3-S Mirror In-fill Panels?

I drew a complete blank in the end, and it looks like you have to order a complete assembly which comes in at very silly money, so the decision was 'to wrap or spray'? Having a good stock of rattle can black and clear coat, I decided to fill (flexible plastic filler) and spray. The panel itself...

    What's the correct name/part # for these F3-S Mirror In-fill Panels?

Ha! Funny you should say that, that’s my fall back if I can’t source new panels (y) Andres

    What's the correct name/part # for these F3-S Mirror In-fill Panels?

I recently bought a low mileage 2021 F3-S and am slowly 'making it mine'... One of the last jobs to do is replace the the small in-fill mirror panels. The previous owner has drilled and fitted LED running lights which I want to remove. Now the panels are a separate piece of the mirror assembly...

My '21 S2S rattles quite badly for a few seconds after ~5 months layup start - any way to spin the motor without starting?

^^^This^^^ It’ll just be the chain being a bit lose until oil pressure builds in the tensioner mechanism. Pretty common to all Rotax/KTM/Husky 4 strokes. Andres
