• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2012 RT with unknown issue - won't go into gear; P0504, C1183, & PO61E - anyone else?

1st thing - since you are new, you do know it must be running to shift? The Clutch is centrifugal and must be spinning to work. The shifter is also hydraulic and works off oil pressure so the engine must be running. 2nd - low battery giving false codes, readings 3rd - low oil giving bad shifts...

    What I Saw Today

I'm with @Elliott 76065, probably a Rewaco. Lots of open tubes on those things.

2010 RTS - unexplained quitting fixed & some Engine mods.

Even tho you have gone to a 1330 Doug, you are still a wealth of information to those of us who still ride these old antiques.

2012 Spyder Back in the race!

@2dogs, Rusty, the mechanic who worked on my Spyder, has sign in his shop which says the same thing. However, in talking with him afterwards, he did say that if there were no other options, he would go the used route.

I want Spyder/Ryker/Canyon dealerships to succeed

You rode right by my house, too bad you didn't stop for a short break.

Check Engine lamp and fault codes P061E & P0504, Brake signal not plausible, Brake lights on all the time, is this normal, or is something else wrong?

I thought the Spyder was more comfortable than my Royal Star too. I know I can ride it further in a day. I am glad to hear she still enjoys getting her knees in the breeze.

I hope you are too Desmoetorhead. BikerBillOne is my inspiration. He is in his 80s, I think getting close to 90.

2012 Spyder Back in the race!

Mecsw500, I like to poke fun at myself and my stuff, hence the "antique" appellation. In Spyder terms though, it is an antique. Since then there's been the 1330 RT, 2018 new dashboards, 2020 redesign, 2022 newer dashboards, and on and on, I loose track. My 2012 is a 998. With the turnover in...

We love to hear about happy endings. Thanks for letting us know the end result. BTW, after an 8 year hiatus, how is you wife taking to the Spyder?

Is there a Repair for the plastic hinges on an F3's saddle bags?

For those of you who have been around Spyders awhile, who was it that used to offer a kit to repair hinges? I remember lots of talk about this some years ago but nothing for awhile.

2012 Spyder Back in the race!

I don't think they are a Spyder dealer anymore. I used them when they first opened in Draper and was very happy with them, but then they opened the branch in Bountiful and they said they had the better mechanics and sent me up there. Now owned by Young, they won't work on my Spyder, as it's "too...
