• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just When You Think You've Seen It All...

The rotor looks fine, no visible issues. Took a closer look at the pads and they're worn about the same, meaning the inner isn't as thin as it appeared. Should be good to wait for the shop. Thanks for the responses.

Just When You Think You've Seen It All...

A question for you folks. I've ordered EBC rotor and pads for the rear, should be in my hands in a couple of days. The stock inner pad is pretty doggone thin, and it's certainly time to replace them. The shop can't fit us in for a couple of weeks, and I'm not interested in pulling the rear tire...

Is my Battery failing? Or not?

Thanks for looking Peter, but that's not the most recent messages I was looking for. In this thread that you've linked above, the source of the problem was that the starter had failed. The local dealership replaced it under warranty. The messages I'm trying to find were just posted in May of...

Is my Battery failing? Or not?

I posted some interesting info (it was to me at least) regarding the battery on our Spyder, but I can't find the thread to link here. It's unfortunate though because it's very relevant to this conversation. I installed a Battery Tracker Plus device earlier this year before our big trip and it...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Thinking we dodged a bullet. I recently purchased the Battery Tracker +Plus and installed it Friday morning. It showed the Xtreme AGM battery at 12.7 volts and charged level at 83%. The Spyder had been sitting for 5 days without being started or put on a tender, so I recharged it. Over the next...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I called and spoke to Elijah over at Lamonsters Garage on Monday morning to ask if they had any Elka II rear shocks on hand and was very pleased to learn that they did. He took down our weights and our riding preferences, had the shock set AND SHIPPED that same day! UPS had it on my door step...
