• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel Gauge Quit, still shows Empty after filling - any ideas what's happened?

I will reiterate, I'm of the old school, use the trip odometer, reset to 0 when I fill up then refill around 100-120 Miles. Don't put much stock in the gauge.

Thinking of switching to a Spyder, any others jumped from their Harley's to Spyders? Any advice welcome...

The long time Harley dealer in town became a Can-Am dealer, but only Side by sides. He told me they did take in a used Spyder and he test drove it. In his words "When I was a Harley dealer I would not have admitted this, but the Spyder makes the Harley trike ride and handle like a dump truck".

What is this head sensor for - oil, coolant, head temp? Any ideas/help?

Yep, looked at service manual under EFI section, and that is definitely the coolant sensor. So the oil is from elsewhere. finis

What is this head sensor for - oil, coolant, head temp? Any ideas/help?

I can see that it looks like some oil is seeping out the back of the valve cover, but there is no way I can access the one cover bolt in that area unless I remove the fuel tank, and that ain't happening. But that oil is not making its way to this location. Yes, I could try removing the plug off...

What is this head sensor for - oil, coolant, head temp? Any ideas/help?

This unit (in the pics) on my 998cc has oil all over it and the wires coming out of it. The oil has been weeping down the side of the engine from it. But if it is a water temp sensor, this makes no sense. I did clean it and the area off with contact cleaner, so it's not obvious in the photo's...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Bingo, it's a bilstein blacked out with M2 Logo over it, and I now have a 9 inch spring rather than the 6 inch, could only get the 9 inch rated at 550 instead of 500. - -

150# for me and 130# for the wife no luggage.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Sorry, as of right now I have the stock shock back on there. I'm in the process of finding an hourglass bushing to insert on the open end of the unit that goes on the bottom of the M2 shock, so I can use the stock shock mounting tube and bolt, making it a much stronger section. First and third...

Changed brake pads. Now my parking brake is flashing exclamation!

Unless I'm missing something, it's supposed to flash when the parking brake is on. My 2013 has always done this.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Yes, it bottoms out. I have put a zip tie around the shaft and shoved it up against the bottom of the shock and it ends up being shoved down onto the rubber stop. I have it dis-assembled, the spring is off as in the picture, and I cannot push the piston in by hand. There is 2 3/4 inches of...
