• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Suffice to say, I'm gonna go with the frunk circuit which had been the original plan. I only chose the GPS2 because I saw a guy hook up a Garmin to it and it appeared to be less trouble than fishing around that frontend for leads that I hear don't have very much slack. We shall see what...

    Hopefully better seen. Actually, this pre-2020 Spyder was equipped with halogen lamps, that old yellow glow. The right front was out so I elected to replace 'em all with LEDs. Have yet to change the fog lights out. Looks to be a tad more difficult than the headlights. Webeesee.

    Success! Got functioning dual USBs and a 12v adapter between the handlebars. Thanks to Snowbelt Spyder and Snoking1127 for the pointers. Replaced the 5a with a 10a and, so far, all is well.

    Violet and yellow, actually, but yeah. Getting time for me to rustle up some grub. Back at it tomorrow. At least my LED headlight conversion works as designed. That's some bright light!
