• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Headlights are Great!

I just put LED's on my 2018 as the OEM headlights sucked big time.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Nothing to the Spyder itself, but I downloaded my planned routes to my Garmin XT for my trip on Thursday. Not that I really need them, as we do this ride every year. This is our annual Devil's Highway ride in Eastern AZ. This year, it looks like we will have around 20 guys going. There will be...

I've gone from ATGATT to H (just Helmet).

Always at least jeans, boots, gloves, and helmet. If the weather is real nice and it is a local ride (under 100 miles) we usually wear our half helmets. Anything longer and it is our modulars. Also on long rides we almost always start out with mesh jackets, until it gets real hot (we live in...

Any ideas on adding an aftermarket USB for phone charging during travels on our 2017 RT?

I tested it with a voltmeter and detected NO POWER when off.

Any ideas on adding an aftermarket USB for phone charging during travels on our 2017 RT?

Any ideas on adding an aftermarket USB for phone charging during travels on our 2017 RT?

I went straight to the battery so I can use it whether Spyder is running or not. Works great for topping off comms while your are in eating lunch.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got back from a trip to Colorado and New Mexico a week ago. Was feeling lazy and had a doctors appointment one day which laid me up for a day. Finally got around to cleaning up the bike. We had rain 2 out of 7 days, along with some hail, plus it was damn cold in the mountains in the rain...

Let’s start a fad - passing Spider Rings (from Amazon) to other Spyders

I have had a Gremlin Bell on every motorcycle I have had in the last 25 years. Last one was given to me by a friend in a Texas based MC when I was back there many years ago at the ROT Rally.

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

No bright headlights, dims work fine - any ideas?

Spent a few minutes testing fuses and relays to make sure they were getting power. Per the schematic, after it leaves the relay it is a direct wire to the headlights. I checked power there and it was good. My eyesight is not that good, but I determined that both bulbs (high beam) are burnt out...
