• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I carried a tire into my dealer and they mounted it on the Spyder ($108), the fronts I carried the tires to a local tire shop and they mounted and balanced them ($40). Most people do not balance the rear tire. I bought all tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to my house.

    I changed my front tires to Vredstein and the back to a General Altimax (all car tires). Total cost was just a little over $500

    Anyone purchased a helmet from Europe?

    Both the wife and I wear Shark Evo One helmets (French company, but made in Portugal)). I find they fit great and I like the way the chin guard goes all the way back.

    call your local 'Rent an owl'. They cleaned out our rabbit population in no time. We had a big Bard Owl that sat up in our elm tree to do his hunting.

    We had our 40' diesel pusher for over 20 years. During that time I would be safe to say we dry camped in the national forests of Arizona 90% of the time. Only had one time we couldn't get out. We left it sit for a week and came back after the mud had dried. LOL

    How difficult is it to switch out handlebars?

    It took me maybe 30 minutes to switch my standard F3L bars out and install the short reach. Really made a big difference.
