• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The cable moves, the wheel moves to the stop, no brake action. I probably need to reset the wheel position on the caliper? The pads are paper thin.

    So I've replaced the recoil spring, everything moves as it should, but there's no brake action. The pads are nearly metal to metal, new pads tomorrow. Or am I missing something??

    I've installed the later model cable, which fit just fine, only to discover that the recoil spring is also broken! Easy fix, seems like an over complicated system to me. But it's a Can Am so it comes with the territory...

    2010 RT, the park brake cable snapped and I am unable to find a replacement. Had no luck at the dealer, or on ebay, amazon, or revzilla... Should I just use blocks of wood and put up with the beeping? Are there any different years that will fit? 707000758 is the part number. I'm stuck at this...

    2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

    What actually fails? The fit between the splines of the output shaft and the sprocket? Poor metal hardness of the sprocket? They require locktight to take up the slack? Is the output shaft damaged if the fit fails?

    After years on "Stromtroopers" forum for Suzuki Vstroms, Adventure bikes, and with age related inflexibility, I can no longer get on or ride my Vstrom, hence the move to a Spyder. It seems like a common situation here prompting a three wheeled ride, but at least we're still out in the wind...
