• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a mildly annoying problem while riding - phone won't bluetooth when plugged in to charge - are there any iPhone experts out there who can help?

Wanted to follow up with the group. I purchased an inexpensive data blocker off Amazon and it was just the ticket. Phone was charging and bluetoothing all at the same time. Thank you for the great suggestion!

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

I will agree with BajaRon on not liking the Spyder at first after coming off two wheels - I did not like the handling one bit. It's sad if there are people who dump them before ever getting acclimated. I took a few thousand miles to retrain myself, but now I love it. Reminds me of a post I read...

Anyone else notice the number of low mileage used Spyders on Marketplace? Any ideas why?

Not in the market for another RT, but they show up in my Facebook marketplace. I am surprised at the number of low mileage examples for sale; I'm talking 4 years old and not even ready (as far as mileage is concerned) for their 3000 mile service. I'm working yet, so not piling on nearly as many...

Looking for 2026 RT Ltd or Sea to Sky equipment recommendations, brands/makes of phone mounts & cup/bottle holders, and a decent Half Cover?

Thank you all for taking the time to respond and sharing your suggestions. I really do appreciate it. I had no idea a data blocker or that activation switch even existed. I will decide which route to go and report back

I have a mildly annoying problem while riding - phone won't bluetooth when plugged in to charge - are there any iPhone experts out there who can help?

I have my Sena mesh headset bluetoothed to my phone so I can listen to Pandora on long rides. For anyone considering this Intercom - I highly recommend it. This is the Mesh intercom made to fit seamlessly inside certain Shoei helmets. The sound quality is great and definitely beats blasting the...

TIME FOR UPGRADES on my 2024 RT-L - which of these do you recommend?

OK, I gotta ask- Frogman, are you a Trident-wearing, BUDS graduated Navy SEAL?

Comparing how we ride our Spyders - what does your trip meter say??

With respect to MPG, I have set the trip odometer a few times when filling up and then calculated my actual mpg compared with what the bike says. I have found that actual mpg is a couple points better (37 actual mpg vs 35 mpg on the display)

Comparing how we ride our Spyders - what does your trip meter say??

Whenever I am departing on a long ride, I like to reset the "Trip A" trip odometer to see on how much ground I've covered that day. I've never needed a second trip odometer so "Trip B" just happens to have been running continuously ever since I took delivery of my RTL two years ago. Along with...

Is this Rubber band feeling from stop normal? Don't notice it again once started...

I am easing very gently into it I assure you. I always let it idle for several minutes while I put my helmet and jacket on and then take off very carefully. Actually the problem is made worse by doing this, if I grabbed a handful of throttle I think it would power through it but I am a fairly...

Is this Rubber band feeling from stop normal? Don't notice it again once started...

Thanks for the responses - I am somewhat relieved that this seems to be the nature of the beast and not a repair bill on the horizon. On the other hand, you'd think that BRP would have this sorted out by now?!

Is this Rubber band feeling from stop normal? Don't notice it again once started...

Wondering if this is just a quirk with these machines or if there is something not quite right with my 2024 RT Limited. When the machine is first being ridden for the day and I am pulling out of my driveway, I get this "rubber band" feeling where the machine does not take off smoothly, the...

Wish I had not gone with a Vredestien Tire

I heard a lot of encouraging stories about dumping kendas for Vredestein. For those that are on the fence - save time money and frustration and just don't do it. I ordered 205/60R15, the stock tire I took off was 225/50R15. Immediately I could see the size difference- they weren't even...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

Here in Wisconsin, if you drive outside the city limits, it’s not if you will, but when you will hit a deer. I’ve hit several with my car, and, knock on wood, none on two or three wheels. The last one I hit did relatively minor damage. The neighbor stated she hoped the deer was ok. To that I...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

Lots of amazing stories, my heart goes out to those that weren’t so lucky. The consensus is that it is perhaps slightly preferable to be in a Spyder and I agree. I’m sure there are cases where a near miss on a bike would be a hit on a Spyder, just as there are cases where that third wheel makes...
