• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

I experienced all the quirks of transitioning from 2 wheels (last ridden 15 years prior to purchasing my 2023 RTL) to 3 wheels as all of you have mentioned. I found that if I could relax a bit and allow the machine to do what it’s designed for with its inherent stability the learning curve...

OEM Tire showing cupping - is this something that goes with the brand?

Thanks for the positives and great advice! The reactive times I definitely take into consideration even driving the car. On the Spyder, I imagine deer written on my armored jacket and it is opening day and everyone wants to bag one. Other than that, Spydering and motorcycling are the closest...

OEM Tire showing cupping - is this something that goes with the brand?

Ok, thanks and I will check for alternative tires. Really happy that I chose the Spyder to get back into motorcycling again after being away for 15 years. I figure it has given me back those 15 lost years and has made me feel a whole lot younger!

OEM Tire showing cupping - is this something that goes with the brand?

2023 Spyder RTL, 20200 original miles, Kenda OEM front tires. Both front ties showing equal amounts of cupping on inside and outside of tire. Tires close to replacement as per wear indicators. Tire pressure diligently checked, no abnormal steering, handling or braking difficulties. I do not ride...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

What were the handling issues on the Spyder? A long time friend of mine has a BMW 1200 and he purchased a Spyder RTL this past Sept as the weight of the BMW was getting too much, plus, he did not want to ride 2 up on the Beemer. He wanted to have his wife continue riding with him and the...

Done - Rear Tire Replacement on my 2020 RT!

I purchased a Big Blue Easy Riser jack to make oil changes, tire changes, and to make thorough underside detailing easier. The first time doing a lift I was a bit nervous, as I did not want the Spyder falling over while being attached to a big hunk of metal. All the worry was a waste of time. It...

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

When I bought my RT Limited in July of 2023( new) I thought about resale value should I not like the 3 wheel experience and it doesn’t even cross my mind now. When the point in time comes that I can no longer ride safely due to age I will either sell it and get whatever I can or let one of my 3...

    Welcome, TOY-TK

Thanks! Looking forward to all the info this website has to offer. Best decision I made when I pulled the trigger to buy the RT Limited. I have done some great rides in the last 2 years and hope for more to come!

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I removed the original battery out of my 2023 RT limited and ordered a YUASA upgrade from Lamonster Garage as per recommendations from other Spyder owners on this site. Hoping to get more longevity as compared to the battery that came with the Spyder. Maybe when the battery arrives the snow...
