• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Looked at it. Haven't ridden it since cleaning it up from Sturgis. I have been riding my Husky 401 though ...

    Sturgis bound

Also completed another enjoyable year at Sturgis. Being our fifth year in a row, and attending approx. 15 in the last 23 years, we're taking a break next year. Maybe Laconia, but I really dislike the Eastern USA traffic! :(

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Gave it a good cleaning after a 6 day ride to Sturgis. Lots of grasshoppers and bee's. But I did manage to avoid the hail 25 miles away :)

Anyone experienced vibrations in their 2026 Sea to Sky Mirrors, like those in earlier 2020+ models?

I was proactive on my 2022 RT S2S, and added Lamonster mirror locks shortly after purchase. Cheap/easy.

    Sturgis bound

Heading out myself tomorrow. Wed/Thu in Sturgis and Fri/Sat in Deadwood. We reversed locations this year. This year will be the last for a couple, as we have been going for the past 15 years :)

Interesting oil test report. What say you?

Warren Oil Company has been a long producer of SuperTech oils. Not sure if they still are.

2025 Improved Sea to Sky Tires, how are they?

My two favorite exhaust smells are Castrol bean oil or Klotz. Loved the exhaust odor of my 1970's pre mix two stroke MX bikes :)

Engine Oil - What Amsoil products are you using?

I can't detect any seat of the pants difference. MPG's are pretty consistent. No odd noises. I normally run 10w40, but had (4) quarts of two year old Castrol Power 1 10w50 m/c synthetic that I used in my past F3S. I just added a quart of Amsoil 10w40 to = 5 quarts. Wasn't going to let perfectly...

Engine Oil - What Amsoil products are you using?

Tried Amsoil 5w40 metric m/c oil on my last run. Due to the 5w40 shear factor, I'll stick with 10w40 weight (actually running leftover 10w50 this run).

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Checked out all the vitals, adjusted tire pressures, and put it under cover until my Sturgis trip in two weeks. Just superstitious that way, but I still have my two wheeler to ride. :)

A post from Lamont on FB...

Another message from Lamont on FB: "The shop has been getting calls about when we're going to be shutting our doors because of my situation. I'm here to say there are no plans to shut down Lamonster Garage at any time soon. Jacob has been running the shop for the last two years without me being...

A post from Lamont on FB...

Today is my first day of freedom. I am free from endless appointments and tests. No more poking veins, no more MRI's, CT scans and no more biopsies. The stress of it all has been greatly reduced. We are now on hospice care. After careful consideration we have decided not to be listed for a...
