• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Can anyone identify this trailer

The prospective seller must have bought it used, for him to not know the manufacturer. There should be a label or identification somewhere.

Too hot to ride the Spyder - took the boat...

Wow!! Too hot in Norway?????? The very southern tip of Norway is north of all the islands of UK, and even with Elgin, Scotland. Wouldn't think that area couldn't get into the 90's F???

    Ft. Collins to Steamboat Springs

Cool scenery. We took our cage vacation last year, stayed in Hot Springs, looks like you missed it. Then went to Steamboat Springs for a balloon ride

Where does the ZUMO 660 GPS Wiring on a 2014 RTL run?

Runs beside gas tank. There are 2 plugs inside, 1 for power, 1 for audio. If you start up by the handle bars, you can wiggle to find the zip ties to start to separate them, then pull up thru that area. The sides around the handle bars will have to come off.

Can You Tour on a Ryker?

Yeah, the Ryker means no shifting, but for touring, it's hard to find storage room. And going at interstate speeds, be ready to get high RPM's and vibration. She would be better off with an F3.

Can You Tour on a Ryker?

I just bought one 5-2. They may be hard to find yet, just started coming into USA last week of April. Previously earlier in the year came in as police bikes. Only one color, 1 model, no saddlebags or top box, but you can buy them. I like it a lot. Had 2 NT700 before, last one somebody decided to...

Is this a Major Electrical Short??? Any suggestions?

I may have found my problem. Stopped at a gas station for break, turned on the key, cluster was blinking, fender lights blinking some. Would not turn over. Thought my battery of 1.5 yrs had a dead cell. Brought it home on a trailer, checked battery with key off - 12.5 volts. Key on 7.5 volts. So...

Why does the BRP Oil Change Kit have 5.5 quarts of oil?

When draining from the 2 plugs, if OEM draining plugs, 1 is 41 or 45mm torx, 1 is 6mm hex. Then you fill with 5 qts; and use the check procedure in the book for checking the oil level. Then, if necessary, add any more oil needed from the small bottle. I'm surprised they just didn't add a full qt...

Do People Get Thrown Off of Spyders?

You may have been influenced by a stupid online video. There was one where a rider ran in reverse fast and turned the wheels hard, and it did flip onto its side. Stupid, of course you can do that and trigger an uncommon event. But with the "nanny", you have all 3 wheels monitored for speed, and...

Do I really need to Change O-Rings at Every Oil Change? Do you?

I don't. Just changed them once in 50,000 miles. Just inspect them, look for any cuts, oil sludge build up. Watch taking them off over the threads. some have wrapped threads with blue tape I think. They do have important jobs keeping channels separate. They are a stepped drain bolt

Ever driven your Spyder onto a ferry?

Have been on ferries a few times. The attack angle is not as steep as loading on a trailer, unless its a tilt trailer, or another that has a long ramp situation

2015 ST Ltd: Where does your rear caliper lie?

The rear caliper is BELOW the swingarm. Or something like 4-6 position. Without some pics, it's hard to tell what happened. That sub plate can easily see if can be put on backwards. Don't know if it would even fit. It has to go thru axle hole, then I think 2 bolts line up somewhere. EDIT: been...
