• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2025 Can Am Spyder RT Limited - Power Steering not working! Do they have to ACTIVATE this? What else needs activating?

Haven't heard of that happening, nothing should have to be done separate to activate power steering. Watch out for this dealership, they make up answers. But Kenda tires can easily be built out of balance. Maybe they were not properly spun balanced/ The front tires are actually not attached in...

Has anyone had issues with electric parking brake not engaging after long rides then working an hour or two later.

There was a recall on the motor at one time for a certain year or years. Probably expired now

Just When You Think You've Seen It All...

That situation was a braking accident ready to happen. A little bit more, piston wears out, fully pushes out enough to leak brake fluid. NO BRAKES!

Confusing info in the users guide - am I missing something, or what?

Copy mistakes as usual for BRP manual. Doesn't show a flash, but toggle low beam side of switch lower, it's a spring loaded feel for flash. RT never had a sport mode, only some F3

Anyone ever mounted a RAM ball directly to handle bars?

The cross view of bars should be very thin walls, not conducive to taking enough threads to hold a ram ball and not strip out quickly. And don't the wires run thru there too? You'd be drilling into war zone of wires!

I bought these Clamp screw knobs to fit to my S2S battery compartment.

I borrowed SHCS stainless steel bolts from work bin. Has the hex wrench fit on top for those who don't know terminology

2018 RT Ltd won't shift up - could it be LH Switch/Control module? Anyone else? Other possibilities?

Yes, there have been a few run into this problem. If you're good at taking things apart, take the left hand control apart and look at things inside. There are other posts about this and even more direct instructions of what people have done to clean and fix this.

How long does the Factory Belt Tensioner last by miles?

Ahhhh, a stone or something hard stuck on outside of belt, kept traveling around and wore the round groove in roller. That would take many revolutions. I was wondering why do I see a hole on top of belt. Had to scroll up to look at other pic. As long as hole didn't go thru, AND is not tearing...

Any thoughts on what this Noise when turning on headlights might be?

As long as they are still OEM, not aftermarket LED lights with interference on the shudder system, shouldn't make a loud noise

Any thoughts on what this Noise when turning on headlights might be?

They actually have a shutter system on it. Full bright, shutter up in off position. When dim, they lower down to about 1/2 way. So yes, you're hearing the shutter move.

Mysterious speaker fail - any ideas/fixes?

Did you HOLD the volume DOWN button? This mutes the speakers on my 2015, not sure about on a 2024, but probably...

My wrench list - what do I need for front brake & wheel removal?

Front lug nuts, 19mm long reach socket. Check before you use, I had to grind down the socket diameter on the end to get it not to touch the rim. Didn't hinder me I'm a machinist. I guess it was a heavy duty thicker socket. You shouldn't need to take front or rear brakes off. Check pad thickness...

Thinking of getting a Sena 60 S Evo - anyone have one yet? Like it? Any comments/feedback welcome?

One of the pair 50s for me got rain inside from a long ride. Messed up function, it will charge, hold battery life for a while, then go totally dead quickly. It's not waterproof, but water resistant. So I will wait a while to get a 60S when the price lowers.
