Last week when I was heading to have Pizza with the grand kids (which is in a town about 20 miles from home), my Spyder kicked into Limp mode and the Check Engine Light started to flash, but it was still running fine. I made it to the the pizza parlor and checked to see what the code was (P2135). When I came out after eating it started up fine and the code was cleared and no limp mode.
I started home and about halfway when it kicked into limp mode again with the check engine light flashing. I looked up what the P2135 code was "P2135 is a diagnostic trouble code that indicates a problem with the throttle or pedal position sensors in a vehicle". It made me to think something was wrong with my Pedal Box. I first tried to re calibrate it then took it out for a test run, and the same thing happened again. I then decided to remove it. I first checked that the connections were still connected solid, and they were. I then disconnected the Pedal Box and removed it.
I then took it out for a test run. I rode it for about 2 hours and no issues. I have contacted Lamonsters (where I purchased it from) and I am waiting a reply. I was just wondering if anyone else has had an issue with their Pedal Box.
