• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Nothing, I have been waiting 7 days for delivery of my new tyre. Site said 2 day delivery ! Getting in touch with these people is something like a séance, "Is there anybody out there?"
As a pessimist I was astonished when my missing tyre was delivered at 9.30 am this morning (Sunday) yahoo!! I have messaged the fitter and it will be fitted in the morning and back on the Spyder ASAP!!

Today, I might go for another ride. I just got through cleaning it up and doing the pre-flight inspections and fluid checks. While cleaning the left wheel, I found a roofing nail with half of the head wedged between the tire sipes on the Vredestein tread! It didn't penetrate the carcass. Whew! Lucked out there.

Rode the RTL to church yesterday. Nice little 115 mile ride. Noticed that this was the first time on this particular bike since getting back from Maggie Valley in mid Octorber. It still had some of the road grime on it. Going to get it all cleaned up and ready for a Christmas parade in 3 weeks.

I installed an Innovv K7 dashcam yesterday. (The screen is a Garmin Zumo and not a dashcam screen; just a handy place to mount the front camera.) The DVR is just above the gas cap for easy access to the micro SD card. The GPS antenna is under the plastic in front of the seat and above the DVR.
