• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Welcome, Waguy360

Let me introduce myself. I'm Ed, and live in Fort Mohave, AZ. I have been a touring bike rider since 1974. Lots of Goldwing's, Yamaha's and the last three were Harley Davidson's. When I moved to AZ from Washington state, I bought another Ultra Classic, only to discover that I don't have the leg strength to hold the bike comfortably. I'm sure that I'm not the first, but it was a painful realization. But I wasn't ready to give up riding. I explored the trike conversions and decided they weren't for me, and the same thing with the HD Tri Glide, just not my cup of tea. That lead me to the Spyder RT's, and after looking and reading all I could find, decided it was time for a ride. Not an easy task, given my location, 2 hours from Las Vegas and 5 hours from Phoenix. A couple weeks ago I was finally able to test ride a new 2025 RT Ltd. That ride was some 30 miles and while the overall experience was good, I surely noticed the "twitchiness" of the machine. It could be described as scary. That dealer assured me that after a couple hundred miles I would adapt, that was similar to what I was able to read online in forums.

Long story, to get to the point. I am now the owner of a 2024 RT Ltd. So far so good, and I have been able to ride about 100 miles so far and I think that I'm adapting to the handling quirks of the Spyder. Lots of miles to come soon as it is riding season here in the desert SW.
