There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOUND THIS WHILE SEARCHING... it did happen last September/October, 2025 - I didn't attend, but have been to 3 of them over the years.
I also want to note the Oct 2026 Spyder Adventures Rally Maggie Valley, NC- is Canceled per Rick Wiles, the owner of Value Accessories and the event organizer.

Thanks, I just found the message about it being cancelled. Ryders are directed to the SE Ohio Spyder Rally.

IIRC, there is a little more discussion on it somewhere on the Forum, basically about why it's been cancelled, but it's not coming up by Searching (the Search button is up toward the top right of each page of the Forum) on 'Maggie Valley' with or without the 'Search titles only' box checked, so it's probably just passing discussion in another thread, and not specifically referring to 'Maggie Valley'. You might have more luck by searching thru google or bing, Duck duck go, etc and adding 'site:spyderlovers.com' to the search string to limit your search in those other search engines to this site. Either way, it always pays to search first.
But whatever you find probably won't change the fact that there's not the usual Maggie Valley Event happening in 2026.
Maybe too many people just went and took advantage of the organisers, without paying/registering?!
