• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Accident on Skyway Bridge. Hope everyone here is safe. :(

It might help a bit if you add SOME context/description in the text of your post and also tell us what you want to know in the thread title, or at least tell us what you expect from the thread...

I dunno about everyone else, but at least to me, and I suspect to quite a few others also, and as suggested by @Bfromla's post above, especially those of us who don't have or ever intend to have accounts there, your link appears to be a generic link to farcebook; it could be a link to anything (including spam or malware); and it's not working anyway!

Without that context/description and a meaningful title, no matter how deserved and thoughtful posting a thread like this might appear to you, that's likely only because you might know what you're on about, but few others, or possibly no-one else at all, knows that from what you've given us here so far, which means that this thread seems to be pretty much useless at best, potentially harmful at worst! :(

Sorry, but more info & a meaningful title is needed! ;)

Or has your account here been hacked &/or you've decided to become an internet troll?? 🤨

;)

The link goes to the "F3 SpyderLovers" group on Facebook.

It's a private group, which means you have to ask to join.
I didn't ask since I don't ride an F3.

Says he swerved to avoid an accident and lost control. Anyone who has driven this bridge/causeway knows there ain't much room for a boo boo. Some parts, like the lower spans that go from island to island, can be narrow. Once you're on the main span, it's steep. Sounds like this would have to be on some of the "on land" portions of the road because the bridge parts have large railings between the North and South lanes. If you want a really thrilling adventure, head up the main span on a 2 wheel bike and about 3/4 of the way up, see the traffic coming to a stop!!

Been over this Skyway Bridge twice when I lived in Florida back in the 80's, and that was enough for me. Unfortunately, I needed to cross it after the Ocean Liner collided with it back in the early 80's. Was scarey as heck having to now utilize only 1 bridge, with very little leeway for any errors. I still have vivid memories of the last car that came to a stop after other cars in front plunged into the Ocean. Was a horrific day.
