Anyone watching this?
We're bringing it, just finished up season 2.
I'm loving this show and surprisingly, so is my wife, especially after last night's episode. Season 2 Episode 9 - Subspace Rhapsody.
Smallish spoiler, it's a musical! Yes, a musical. I'm very much not a musical kinda guy (with a few exceptions, Fiddler on The Roof comes immediately to mind) but this one I loved! I smiled the entire time; it was just that much fun!
The actors even sang using their own voices. I had no idea that some of them sang that well! Well, except for the actor who plays Uhura (Celia Rose Gooding) who was awarded a Grammy and nominated for a Tony award.
You may ask, how in the heck does the show turn into a musical? To answer that I would have to give you a LARGE spoiler, not gonna. Let's just say that there is a plausible explanation, a plausible science fiction explanation that is.
Another small one, perhaps.
Klingons in a musical? Why, yes, Klingons singing and dancing! Never thought I see the day.
