• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

I haven't been able to find one, not with a bend to it, anyway. Good old Google AI had this to say: To get air into the hard-to-reach rear tire valve stem of a Can-Am Spyder, you need an extended straight-on (or dual-foot) rigid air chuck. Because the valve stem sits tightly behind the large...

Thoughts or Advice on installing Metal valve stems on wheels using FOBO?

That's a good point. I will check with Joe to see if that is part of his tire installation process.

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

I think you and 2dogs (among others) have a valid point. I think using temporary stem extensions is one possible solution to the 'reach' problem. The other is to use a long rigid air chuck. Both work pretty well in a controlled environment such as one's garage, but not so much in a hotel parking...

Thoughts or Advice on installing Metal valve stems on wheels using FOBO?

Okay, found the HawksHead on WingStuff website and ordered it. Should be here in time for the rear tire swap I had planned anyway. Thanks for the advice and ideas.

That would take all the fun out of things, Mikey!

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

Me? Overthink things? Surely you must be joking! 😉 I know I should ride more and worry less, as someone on here says in their tag line, but when I can't ride for whatever reason, I like to engage in a little bit of thinkin' about things, and when those things involve Spyders, I like to have a...

Thoughts or Advice on installing Metal valve stems on wheels using FOBO?

Thanks. They're pricey now, so I'll probably do just the rear.

Thoughts or Advice on installing Metal valve stems on wheels using FOBO?

So, are your tee types stems the actual valve stem, or a screw on extension? It sounds like the latter. And, you're using it on the original straight rubber valve stem? Do you have a link to the tee type extension you're using, please?

Using FOBO TPMS? Did you install the T valves?

How secure are those screw-on type t-valve extensions? Anything else I should know about them? Clearance issues?

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

I'm trying to avoid having to crawl around on the ground, maybe in the hot sun, when traveling (this IS, after all, a touring machine, not a garage ornament).

Thoughts or Advice on installing Metal valve stems on wheels using FOBO?

I'm thinking of adding FOBO to monitor tire pressure, particularly for the rear wheel, which is difficult to access. For the rear wheel, I'm thinking of installing a T-valve at my next tire change, so I can more readily add air if needed, without having to remove the FOBO device. Any thoughts...

Jake, what do you mean by "this kit"? What are you referring to? Thanks

Laser Alignment Issues with all A/mkt Wheels - they won't accept alignment tools? Anyone heard this before??

I did look up their Facebook group page. It's been so long I'd forgotten about them. I know George Parry quite well, but it's been about 5 years.. Thanks for the tip.

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

What a great idea. Which product did you use for the TPMS?

Laser Alignment Issues with all A/mkt Wheels - they won't accept alignment tools? Anyone heard this before??

FWIW I just spoke to Ann and she says they only do Spyder work at their Las Vegas location.

I didn't know about his hip problem. It's been more than a year since I had contact with him, and at that time he wasn't doing any Spyder work at the ranch, because I was willing to go there. His Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/share/1DdjQuqrcU/

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

I won't do group rides with 2-wheelers any more. They always insist on me riding at the back behind their loud bikes and don't like it at all when I get impatient with them in the twisties and pass them on the inside of the curve, at speed (when conditions allow, of course).

    Is the Rider Map functioning?

Paul, based on my most recent discussion with Peter A about even simple changes to the website, I believe we should not expect anything more than what we presently have. Without sponsors, there is no income stream for the webmaster.
