• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will this mean we get a Fully automatic Spyder?

The extended warranty. The one thing I paid for that I hope I never have to use. Like insurance, especially life insurance...

Will this mean we get a Fully automatic Spyder?

I wonder if it adapts the shift points from the rate at which you open the throttle which is somewhat analogous to how my Range Rover works. It actually does it so, so seamlessly that I don’t even notice it happening unless I happen to really look for it. It would be interesting to see what...

Anyone else had an Oil Leakage Issue like this? - UPDATE

Perhaps it might be time to get an attorney involved. I hate involving attorneys in anything all the time I am getting reasonable responses from the manufacturer to back up their product, but I think you have been more than reasonable at this point. You have tried their low cost (to them)...

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

Yes, I looked last night and V 5.1.0 was still current. I thought they might have posted the update in advance of the notice but it wasn't. I must admit I'm fortunate in not having any problems with the display on mine.

Anyone else had an Oil Leakage Issue like this? - UPDATE

I must admit, I was a bit worried about their solution, but you kind of think they must know what they are doing and that they have successfully done this before. I guess not. I think it's got to the state where an engine swap is in order. It's got to be simpler and much cheaper in warranty...

Here's a Simple Alteration to help your Lift Table suit a Spyder.

That is impressive. Which lift table is that/where did you get it? Is it compressed air driven? Thanks in advance.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

I think my arthritic sorry old bod has gotten well past the hanging off stage, two wheels or three. The only way I'm getting my knee down any more is by chucking it up the road. Other than that, my Spyder absolutely refuses to spin up the rear, even one up, probably because of my lardy old self...

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Does the WA State DOL require you to demonstrate this skill? Does a three wheel training course go into such techniques? I would have thought riding on public highways with a modern vehicle and all its electronic rider aids you would not realistically be able to repeat this maneuver. I’d have...

Where are All of the Spyder riders in Vermont?

As a former Brit, with lots of British cars and motorcycles out on the road, beware of the oil spills.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

I had a V-10 Excursion back when. I'm glad I don't right now, though my Range Rover is barely better at 16 mpg on Premium. Towing that trailer, it did manage 6 mpg up here in the mountains.:(

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Yep, she carries a big stick. Also what is hers is hers, and what's mine is hers anyway, so I'm ultra cautious on such matters. It's only due to her that I live indoors and get to eat regular meals, so I'm eternally grateful and have no basis on which to argue.

    Conventional vs Reverse Trike Discussion

Well that sounds like a lot of fun, trying to roll one. I suspect it's the most fun when it's someone else's trike, just in case you end up proving you can - by accident, you understand. :) I must admit I'm not that keen even on lifting a wheel on normal public roads, as my wife tends to get a...

Your Weather News @ September 2026 Edition

It’s finally cooler here in UT at a predicted 77. Our ride over the Alpine Loop to Cascade Springs last Thursday was still in the low 90s and hotter than that in the valley. Taking a ride today to enjoy the cooler weather. Roll on the fall riding season.

    Ultimate Dealer GREED!

Me too. This exactly describes why I take mine to the dealer for all servicing despite knowing I could in theory do the job myself for less cost. Age and physical inability silently creeps up on you until one day you just say, I’m not doing whatever, myself, ever again. Even if I had a vehicle...

Rear tire mileage - How are you people getting 10,000 + miles on Kenda tires?

I’ve found the new XPS branded Kenda tires as fitted to 2026 Spyders to be a huge improvement. Improved build quality, better wet weather traction and less greasy squirming on hot tarmac. BRP say they last longer but we will see on that score. All my personal observations. They are the same...

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

Yes, I've tried a Spyder with car tires, but I was comparing it to the original OEM Kendas I had on my previous Spyder at the time. They were clearly superior without a doubt. How much superior to these new XPS branded ones, I wouldn't like to say without a more back to back comparison. I think...

The UT Alpine Loop and side deviation to Cascade Spring.

There was very little traffic. Few of the turnouts had very many vehicles in them. There were more motorcycles out than cars I think. Cascade Springs had a few families out, but only about a third of the parking spaces in the lower parking lot were taken. The overflow upper parking lot was...

Are people throwing better shocks at their trike first, instead of better tires?

I'd go for that, except for the tires bit. These new XPS branded Kendas I'm finding day by day how much better they perform and feel than the original Kenda OEM tires. I went for a ride up the canyons yesterday and hit a couple of small rocks around blind curves which I'm sure would have...

    Random thought for the day

Having been raised in a country driving on the left, and now having spent an equal number of years driving on the right, I just take an average and just drive in the middle.

The UT Alpine Loop and side deviation to Cascade Spring.

Decided the weather was nice for a ride over the Alpine Loop and a deviation off to Cascade Springs (Wasatch Front - Utah). It said the weather was going to be in the 80's F so I thought it would be nice up in the mountains at 8,000 feet. Oh boy, I don't know where they get the weather...
