• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fellow Spyder Riders Help Me With Hip Pain While Riding Our New Spyder

I agree. My pain is like someone has taken a brace and bit and is boring a hole into my side hips. (actually a tad lower than where my hips are). Someone earlier also mentioned it feeling like a charlie horse or cramp in the hip area. I find that standing on my floorboards (a bit risky going...

    Riding Sunglasses

I went down to Wallyworld yesterday and purchased me some Bella Ballistic Safety Glasses. Price was under $20.00. These things work great. They aren't the snazziest of sunglasses, but they are very very functional and will get the job done for me. Chris

    Persnickety Harely Riders

I'm not gonna comment about the HD people. However, as for the dirt and your flap. You have it in the wrong place. I think someone suggested in an earlier post to have it attached to the factory flap. That's what I did and it certainly keeps the water, etc., off your passenger. However, it...

    Riding Sunglasses

I'm glad to see this thread. Just had cataract surgery and won't be wearing my glasses anymore. Consequently, I'm in need of sunglasses when I ride. (I'm not gonna wear a shield). Guess I'll have to ride down to Wally World and see what they have. Thanks again for this post. Chris

Spyder riding in extreem heat. Tell us how you deal with it.

On an extremely hot day I carry a small cooler with a lot of ice and some water. I take a short hand towel and soak it with the ice cold water. I wrap it around my neck and t-shirt. Occasionally, I'll take the towel and cool my arms and legs down (I wear shorts and a t-shirt). It usually...

HAVE YOU HAD THE 2013 RT RECALL WORK DONE YET?

It's a good point, but for those who don't have pegs, but instead the floorboards that come with the 2013 RT-S, then you are going to have your toes blasted by the lower "torch hole". With that said though, I have found (at least on my RT-S) that there is a slight drop in heat coming from that...
