• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sounds to me you're missing a bracket somewhere, because in most cases there's two ball brackets; one on the seat, one on the bike, and the ram just snaps onto the ball ends. Sounds like you should have a C clip there somewhere, like under the seat, to hook into!

    You have to be really careful when you are taking that cover plate on and off on that side not to bend that arm on that switch! I would make sure the switch is working, take that cover plate off and test the switch for continuity, if that's fine bend the arm lightly to make contact with cover!

    I stand corrected about the lights; they do come on when the switch is turn on! I was working on a friends spyder and noticed that they did in fact come on.     The code may not reset without BUDS. The reason it happened, was most likely the bad gas! Good luck!

    It will not have lights till the motor is running I believe! And you are applying the brakes when you are trying to start it, right? If the bike's not in neutral, you have to have the foot brake on to override the safety, then when it starts, it will auto shift to neutral for you!

    Aftermarket, Copper's given you a spot to look, it will be a little bear to get the old out, but you can do it. It will have a lot of Loctite on it if it hasn't been replaced before, so clean the threads well before installing the new one, DON'T use Loctite!!! :cool:
