• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Having difficulties properly Filling the gas tank!

:agree: 100% When I had my Ryker I was always worried about running fuel out of the overflow hose. To prevent this, when I refueled, I would pump no more than 5 gallons of gas.

Having difficulties properly Filling the gas tank!

I'm in the same boat. My low fuel warning light pops on at about 33-35 miles to empty. Not being a daring, devil may care type of rider. I start looking for a refueling spot at that time. The pump usually clicks off a 4+ gallons, and by judicial use of the nozzle I can generally squeeze another...

I'm member, big change in my life

Welcome to the group. Like you I retired from the Air Force in 1991 after serving 20 years as an 81172 (Law Enforcement Supervisor) to my civilian friends. Then in 1995 I signed on with a county sheriff's office where I served for an additional 23 years. So after 43 years in law enforcement with...

Are there any Can-Am Bluetooth Tutorials? Anyone willing to do one?

Have you tried looking on YouTube? I searched for "BRP connect tutorials" and found several videos that might answer some if not all your questions.

I've Rigged up a camera mount for my RT - now to see if it works!

I have to agree with you. There’s nothing more yawn inspiring then watching a video of someone riding down the interstate for 10 or more minutes, or along winding country roads. There’s just nothing happening unless you happen to come upon an emergency scene or have a high speed police pursuit...

    Netflix movie mailing to end

It was a great service when it first started. You could add unlimited movies to your list. We had the three movies out at a time deal. We would watch a movie and send it back. Within 2-3 days the next movie on our list would arrive. But as time went on Netflix began to throttle people who...

I've Rigged up a camera mount for my RT - now to see if it works!

I'd love to get one of those 360 cameras, but the 300-500 dollar price tag is a little outside my comfort zone.

I've Rigged up a camera mount for my RT - now to see if it works!

As well as this setup seems to work, I’m not really too happy with it. My main complaint is I can’t tell when or even if I’m recording. The camera has this little tiny blue LED that blinks where it’s recording. Unfortunately my 70+ year old eyes simply can’t see that little light unless I’m...

    Fuel Injector Cleaner When/How Much

Would it be a good idea to use fuel injector cleaners as part of a normal preventive maintenance program, and if so, how often and how much should you use at a fill up? My bike is running fine, I’m just think of preventing an issue rather then wait for it to develop.

The mic is inside the camera. I haven't had a chance to test the external mic yet.

I've Rigged up a camera mount for my RT - now to see if it works!

Here is a short little clip of a longer video I took today. I'm going about 70 mph down the interstate at the time. Ignore the time stamp, it's not correct. This video was shot with a $40.00 Go Pro knock off from Amazon. I was pretty surprised with how little to no vibration was present. I moved...

I've Rigged up a camera mount for my RT - now to see if it works!

I've been thinking of a way to record both front and behind me when I'm out on a ride, especially in a group. I came up with this solution. Tomorrow if Mother Nature cooperates I'm going to take a little test ride and see how well it works out. I'll be interested to see if I can swing the camera...

Parking Brake Motor - Pro's & Con's of leaving it off during winter hibernation?

I’ve been doing that for a long time now. I leave my RT in my storage shed during the winter, which unfortunately does not have power. So I don’t set the parking brake. There’s only a foot or so of space between the front of my bike and the junk I have in front of it. So even if it did roll...
