• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reservations made for next year's Deadwood Three Wheel Rally!

The first thing is you were there during Sturgis. With a hundred thousand plus leather clad bikers, there’s bound to be a little friction. I’m convinced the Spyder crowd are a whole other type of biker. Now when I was down there last year for the three wheel rally I didn’t encounter any issues...

So do I. I think where were maybe 3 vendors last year. That was pretty disappointing to me.

Automated mailed ticket.... But I wasn't there!

I had the happen to me once. Claimed I skipped a toll going over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in western Washington. I haven’t driven on the west side of the state in about 10 years. I called them and told them they had the wrong truck. They admitted the picture was kind of fuzzy so I guess they...

Reservations made for next year's Deadwood Three Wheel Rally!

In my case I guess being retired makes it easy to make long range plans. Not too many things that can come along and mess them up. But a full refund if cancelled by June 1st gives you a little bit of a "just in case" comfort zone.

How do you secure your Helmets when leaving your bike?

My modular helmet fits in the frunk. So depending on where I am and how long I'll be gone I'll stick there along with my gloves.

Hit and run damage to a Ryker!

Filing a claim through insurance is going to end up cost you more in the long run. Costing a hundred bucks to replace the fender I'd just go ahead and eat the cost.

Kind of an expensive day - 28k service

I had noticed my bike was making an odd noise. You could hear it over or secondary to the normal engine noise. Hard to describe, sort of like a howling sound. I wonder if that was caused by the damaged belt? I'll have to wait till I get it back to find out. The noise wasn't constant but...

    I test rode a 2023 today!

The 2023 comes with cruise control but yes you can definitely ride with one hand while resting the other. On the freeway/interstate I usually rest one or the other hand on the hand grip while I control the steering with the other with my cruise engaged. Of course, I only use cruise control when...

Kind of an expensive day - 28k service

Took my 2018 RT into the shop today for the 28K service. During the service they discovered the drive belt had been damaged by some type of debris. Also the rear tire was marginal. Tech said it could probably last till spring before it needed to be replaced. But since they were already in there...

Booked my Spyder's 28K Maintenance before winter sets in!

Well I have an appointment to take my Spyder in for its 28K maintenance next Thursday. The Tech said they would be doing an oil/filter job, coolant and brake check, belt adjustment, tire inspection, battery, and a few other things. I thought it would be a good idea to get it all done before...

Is there a Warranty Transfer Fee?

OK, I got some clarification on this. Seems this extended warrant is from a third party outfit so I guess it makes sense they would charge a transfer fee.
