• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why buy an F3 rather than an RT?

My first Spyder was a 2020 RT Limited. First impression was that now I am sitting on top of a bike and not down in it. Always had the feeling that bike wanted to throw me off due to that sensation. the handlebar was such that my riding position was like sitting straight up. I now have a...

We talked about a new rear tire for me. I bought one. But is this typical of Kendas?

Tire wear mileage is like guessing how many jelly beans in a jar. It varies greatly. If your ok with whatever tire you got and the miles that you get, then so be it. No wrong answer...

Any feedback re F3-S with SlingMods tri-case setup versus F3 Ltd?

Bigpoppa, give yourself sometime getting to know and ride the Spyder. Big difference going from a two wheeler. At first, one can get discouraged because of the different riding sensations, but after 1000 miles, you will feel right at home.

Will RonBar help with Drifting on Secondary Roads with Crowns?

My thoughts on this is a spyder has three contact different surface points all feeding responses back to the rider(s). Not going to ride/feel like a motorcycle.

    Comfort Seat Worth it?

I had a 2020RTL with oem seat and thought it was ok until I got a 2022 F3L Limited which comes with the comfort seat as standard. Can tell the difference-pleasantly.

Can anyone explain what aftermarket end links actually DO?

What is good about these Spyder discussions is everyone has their opinion on whatever the issue is being discussed. All are good and in many cases informative and helpful to the reader. So, here is my opinion on this topic. I have only experienced Spyders since 2020 with a Rt L and now a 2022...

Brand New 2022 RT Limited with Issues !!!

In regards to the front compartment opening issue, on page 35 of owners manual(f3) for 2022, it states to push in and turn and while pushing down on key, open front compartment lid. If the latch/striker is adjusted just right and lubed, then in some cases it will open without holding key down...

HHC (Hill Hold Control) - what am I doing wrong? Why won't it work?

I have used it numerous times on both Spyders that I have had. It usually holds bike on incline for about two seconds which is enough reaction time from releasing brake and begin to accelerate.

The best tire repair kit you could ever buy.

Part of the minority with original tires. No issues with the 2020 RTL nor current 2022 F3L . Deserts, mountains, curvy, straight, rain storms etc. Just saying...

A small Safety Mod to our 2022 RTL with a big improvement!

Update- since installing revised turn signal switch button, I have not once had an issue with it. With the oem button, one had to be dead nuts on center to cancel or would turn on again or turn on the opposite side signal. This revised one hits the sweet spot every time with hundreds of...

    Georgia to Alaska - 2023

Nice scenery up there. I did it twice, once up to Arctic Circle and other first to Yellowknife then up to Dawson City then over to Alaska. Yes, the roads in the Yukon are bad because of the frost heaves and road repairs.

Any hints on checking rear tire Air Pressure-F3L

I am like Micky above and give the tires a look and a kick then get on and ride. I take a pressure reading perhaps twice or three times the most per year. May have to add 2-3 lbs. per year. All those that have spent the money to monitor tire pressure, how often do you have to add air???. I...

HHC (Hill Hold Control) - what am I doing wrong? Why won't it work?

My 2020 RTL had it as well as my 2022 F3L Limited. Works on slopes/hill when stopped. It basically let's one to take foot off brake and begin to accelerate before bike begins to roll back. I have found it to work ok.

Does your Saddlebag need to be slammed to latch?

A gentle push after the latch engages normally locks in place. Do not expect to just close without some gentle assist usually with the knee or hands. My 2020 RTL was that way and now the my 2022 F3L Limited although the F3L does have a better lock/latch system. Sometimes if closing with a...
