• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

North Dakota Owners please say Hi.

Hello from Detroit Lakes Minnesota. Do we count being only 50 miles east of the border? After all, we relate waaay more easily to North Dakota than any size metro area in Minnesota. 50 degree days are coming up by Monday so my heated gear will be put to use. My machine is a 2018 F3 Limited...

What Loud Horns are available for Spyders?

Another "thumbs up" for the Wolo Bad Boy. Just as Caven says, it's about the right loudness without being scary or obnoxious. Here's a thread about mounting on an F3 if it can help you out: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?126313-2018-F3L-wolo-bad-boy-horn-mounting

    2020 RTL Owner Assistance

I got to say I was disappointed that no one here, who has the 2020 RT, stepped up to help you out. Nice trailer!

    Unpainted catalytic converter

When my F3 was new, I simply cleaned my cat thoroughly with lacquer thinner and sprayed on a few coats of Rustoleum high heat paint. Thousands of miles later, there has been no flaking or peeling. Heating up the cat, the first few times, really "cures" the paint.

These push pins work for panels?

Here's another handy push pin tool that works well. For the one I have, I modified the tool's head by grinding down the flanges, on either side of the opening, leading down to the shank just a bit. It reconfigured the overall shape of the head. For me, I found the tool works better that way...

These push pins work for panels?

Thanks for the info. It's always good having more than one source to choose from. Premium VENOM. Gotta love that name!

These push pins work for panels?

You are welcome! Those push pins are the best deal going, so it's easy/cheap to replace one you might have screwed up lifting those suckers out. With the proper tool even.

These push pins work for panels?

I use these and are as close as I've found to what BRP uses, and a LOT less expensive: https://www.ebay.com/itm/100-pcs-8-mm-Black-Nylon-Push-Pin-Splash-Guard-Body-Panel-For-Honda-Kawasaki/292703636008?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

After less bulky Ladies Spyder Gear Suggestions

Me, being a Minnesotan, I suggest you take at look at Aerostich textile riding gear. Most, if not all, of their gear is made in Duluth Minnesota. They sew it up, repair it if need be, and sell it right there in-house. They have an extensive sizing chart and will also sew custom sizes. As others...

    2015 RTS Front Sprocket

For my peace of mind, I have a new pulley and bolt on hand. So, if and when the pulley fails there'll be no time spent waiting for parts as I do as many of my own repairs a I can. Money well invested.

    Removing sticker glue

Good old WD-40 will work well and it's something we all, most likely, have sitting around the shop so nothing special is needed to be bought. As with all things dealing with plastic, especially clear plastic, test an inconspicuous area first. After the goo is removed, wash area with soapy water.

2018 F3L wolo bad boy horn mounting?

On my 2018 F3 Limited, the Wolo sits in the same position/area as the stock horn, though higher up. There is just enough space for the horn. I made a custom bracket from 1/8" x 1" flat mild steel (with a 45 degree twist) that uses the same mounting holes as the original horn bracket. The photo...
