• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Right/Left turn preference?

I've had my RT-S about four months and I continue to learn to handle it better each time I ride. I've put on about 6,000 mi. so far. I have noticed that I have a preference for right hand turns/curves. I took my two wheeler out to see if I had a preference on it and perhaps slight favoritiism...

    Princess and the Pea

Good point Bob on travelling on unpaved. I should point out that I was on paved surface at the time. The small stone was black so appeared to be a piece of asphalt. So you don't have to be on an unpaved surface to pick up a stone, though it is probably more uncommon to pick one up on paved...

    Princess and the Pea

Last Friday I was leaving for work and turned and backed up my driveway, then proceed up the street.  As I drove away I felt a bad vibration from the <img src="images/smilies/spyder2.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Spyder2" smilieid="51" class="inlineimg">.  Oh oh, so I pulled over to have a quick...

Riding at sunset and at night

A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes a few well articulated words conjures up wonderful images. Thanks for the images. I was riding Friday with clear blue sky and little traffic and it just felt "so right".

    How old are you?

Thanks for the thread Jerbear. I have great memories, we didn't have a lot but we had the whole outdoors. I can relate to most of those things. We lived in the country so I didn't know what a Johnnie pump was. We had a Dodge pickup with "three on the tree" and the linkage gave out somewhere...

    Traffic Light Question For Motorcycles

Oh yes this is one of my pet peeves. There is one of these intersections at the end of my street,!(can turn left or right only). If i get to the light first I usually turn right as I have never been able to trip the loop as it is buried under a repave. I assume your situation is similar and the...

    Another newbie here

I have owned my RT-S SM5 for 10 days now and I love it. I've owned bikes for 35 years and over the winter was thinking of updating my 2001 Honda ST1100. I was looking online at St1300, Bmw's - Sport tooring bikes. One snowy Saturday morning I woke up and thought "What about a Spyder"? I was...
