• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    THIS MAKES ME MAD!!

Thank you! And a salute is due as well. I apologize for questioning you ... you should have said something up front! For the record, I've verified what you say and although the numbers may be a bit exaggerated, that doesn't make it right. This kind of thing irritates me as well. I would...

    THIS MAKES ME MAD!!

This whole damned thread is just stupid. It has nothing to do with one side or another. It has to do with the fact that you posted a video in Mandarin with no English translation or even subtitles. If you look at it directly on YouTube, even all the comments are in Mandarin. The only...

    THIS MAKES ME MAD!!

I don't know about the chart, but not asking citizenship status is not exactly new. The last time the Census Bureau asked citizenship status was in the 1950 census according to NPR: https://www.npr.org/2018/03/27/597436512/fact-check-has-citizenship-been-a-standard-census-question. I...

    Windows 10

The one and only version of Windows that I liked was Windows XP. Ever since then, the more "smart" they make it, the more "stupid" it gets. I don't like it when programs think they know better than I do where I should file stuff. All that's happened with newer versions is more complication...

    BRILLIANT VIDEO

Well, actually it would be $550K for New York according to what I read on CNBC (the first google hit). According to Forbes (the second google hit), "to be considered in the top 1% of taxpayers nationally,, you'd need an annual income of $480,930." I don't mean to quibble with you about...

    BRILLIANT VIDEO

I agree that the thread should not be considered political. I find it thought provoking. Even though I parodied the video, I don't even disagree with its basic idea -- the purpose of "the rest of the story" was simply to demonstrate that things are never black-and-white. In real life, we're...

    BRILLIANT VIDEO

The Rest of the Story Of course, to be fair, the three brothers should have just divided the cost of the gate in three and each brother's share would be $10,000. Here's the script for sequel video that continues the story from that point forward: Even though the two poorer brothers admitted...

    Made in Mexico...

Far better Mexico than China. It's a benefit, is it not, to keep Mexicans employed ***in Mexico***? Better yet if made in USA but BRP itself is Canadian, so that was probably never much of an option.

    garage parking problem

While I don't disagree with the suggestion to use a ramp, do NOT get the ramps in the picture. Cheap, yes, but not easy or safe. AT ALL. I have a pair and they are awful. Just awful. At least on my garage floor, they slide horribly. It's a two-man or even three-man job to get either a car...

Introvert or Extrovert - which are you?

Also introvert but I don't think introvert/extrovert has anything to do with being overbearing or a bully.

    FUN FACTS FROM STUPID LAWS

#26 (Kansas) is neither crazy nor unusual. In the early days of my career, I was the municipal prosecutor for the City of California, Missouri (population 3000). I didn't write or pass the law, but I did frequently prosecute the offense of "breaking traction." The purpose of the law was to...

    Best Trailer For Hauling Spyder

I agree, but I could have lived with that in order to get the 89" width that would fit through my garage door. The Ultimate company told me, however, the tie-downs would nevertheless interfere and make it impossible to use with the Spyder. They did offer to make another version that would have...

    Best Trailer For Hauling Spyder

Ultimate Trailer I'm looking to buy a trailer to haul my 2017 Spyder RT and had more-or-less settled on the "Ultimate" trailer because I planned on storing the Spyder on the trailer inside my garage, as they describe on their web site. The trailer uses an air suspension that can be raised up...

Why We Live Where We Do

I was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, went to Mizzou for college and law school and kept coming back to Missouri over and over until I retired in 2013 (three years in Jefferson City, nine years at Fort Leonard Wood, and seven years in Kansas City, but none of them consecutively)...

    F3 limited vs RT

This may be a contrary viewpoint but as others have said, it's up to each individual. I am 6'-4" with a 35" inseam. I don't feel cramped on the RT, I like the upright "in control" posture, and I find the seat quite comfy although comfort is especially subjective. I do not like the seating...

    Why We Stand

I will get upset over kneeling for the National Anthem as being disrespectful when someone tells me why kneeling before God in church is NOT being disrespectful. I don't find either standing or kneeling to be disrespectful. Chewing gum, belching, talking, facing away from the flag ... that is...

    All New Ryker ?????

It's the Moscow troll and be thankful it's on topic for the first time in its life ... even if it doesn't know the difference between a Spyder and a Chinese knockoff.

    So it's called the Ryker!

I agree, Rob. CVTs aren't very satisfying in cars normally because they will make the engine rev up a long time before the car's speed catches up. In daily driving this probably isn't noticeable but it IS noticeable when doing max acceleration or passing. Hence, car manufacturers now build in...
