• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are 2024/25 F3's missing the 2 Accessory Circuits? What have you done about this on yours?

I wasn't talking about older models. I have a 2023 F3S and if you open the left maintenance panel there is one there and one under the passenger seat. I was asking if it has been confirmed that new 2024+ models have had them removed from the wiring harness, and so far the answer is Yes, for the...

Anyone fitted an Apple Carplay dongle to make '24 ACP Wireless to iPhone?

Does that mean you got it to work on your Spyder? I used Carlinkit 5 on my KIA and they have lots of settings for compatibility.

Are 2024/25 F3's missing the 2 Accessory Circuits? What have you done about this on yours?

Thanks. Someone posted in another thread that they are splicing into the fog light switch, since for whatever reason, there isn't a fog light option for the new generations, but the connections and the switch are still on the harness. Go figure - they make a point to remove the spare accessory...

Are 2024/25 F3's missing the 2 Accessory Circuits? What have you done about this on yours?

Correct, that's what I'm talking about. In the past year, there was a sealed wire labeled Customer Accessory shown. It seems those are not there now.

Anyone fitted an Apple Carplay dongle to make '24 ACP Wireless to iPhone?

Did you mean the CarLinkIt 5? If so, did you mess with any of it's settings? You can connect to the CarLinkIt through IP address and it has lots of compatibility settings to play with. One issue is that you may have to force the CarLinkIt to Carplay only, since the head unit only supports that...

The Customer Accessory Power Connectors are not there on my 2025 F3-T!

Just wondering, with no accessory wires on the 24/25 F3, where did you splice into then?

Are 2024/25 F3's missing the 2 Accessory Circuits? What have you done about this on yours?

Just watched a video and maybe I've seen one post with no resolution. It seems the 2024/25 F3 do not include the keyed accessory circuits any longer (left panel and under the passenger seat). I was looking at trading in my 2023 F3-S for a new 2025 F3-T that my dealer got in, but I'd still like...

Is a replacement Lithium Battery the way to go? How have you installed yours?

I just modified the bracket a little so the battery clamp would fit into the NLP recess (only took a few minutes on my grinder). After that it was as solid as factory. Put 2k miles over the summer on trips with no issues.

Help with adjusting belt tension & alignment please? Any step-by-step guides?

Thanks for the responses but I went through many of the threads here on the forum with some back and forth on the subject but I picked up a kricket 2 gauge and I'm finding the readings do not make any sense, as they are off the scale exceeding 300 lb*force scale, doesn't make sense for how much...

Help with adjusting belt tension & alignment please? Any step-by-step guides?

It is not a false conversion. 775N does convert to 571 ft*lb. However the Krickets only measure in lb*force not ft*lb which is a different measure, that conversion is 174 lb*force. The issue is that isn't clean when people seem to talk about these numbers.

Help with adjusting belt tension & alignment please? Any step-by-step guides?

So here is the confusion I just bought the 2023 service manual. Under the belt drive system, it states the belt tension should be, with rear tire lifted off the ground, 775N +/-150N - that converts to around 570 ft/lb! There is no way those Kriket gauges would work at that, or you're setting you...

Help with adjusting belt tension & alignment please? Any step-by-step guides?

I'm in a similar boat. On my 2023 F3-S towards the end of the summer, I started getting a really bad vibration and sometimes a noise on the left side only at around 3900 RPM in the 50mph range, all after I rolled over to 3k miles. My thinking is that something's up with the belt - it either...

Check out this Belt alignment tool - might help someone...

These work great on chain bikes, because on a chain bike the chain doesn't move around like on a belt and it's more import for the rear tire to be inline with the front or you can have a very bad day.

Can Am paint shows marks - any advice on removing them?

Yes, the paint or I bet the clear coat they use seems to scratch very easy. I had my 23 F3S since last year and found even using a microfiber towel will cause scratches.

Will my 2024 F3T need a belt vibration damper?

I don't know when they started, but pretty sure all new Spyder's come with a factory BRP belt tensioner these days. My 23 F3s did, I however swapped it out with a Lamonster one since it's more heavy duty.

What is this on the front wheels? A spacer, or what?

Many Spyder owners, even with their tires perfectly spin balanced, still have vibrations coming from the tires/wheels. Could that be solved with premium tires or better rims? Maybe. However, many found slapping a set of Centramatic's on solves those issues without having to spend all that money...

Is a replacement Lithium Battery the way to go? How have you installed yours?

That's what I did. So for anyone else who find this post and want's to use the NOCO Battery (because I couldn't find any post on this), what worked for me was using both 15mm spacers then apply 3 of the foam squares to the bottom of the battery compartment that will get you battery almost...

Is a replacement Lithium Battery the way to go? How have you installed yours?

So I ended up buying the NOCO battery and dropped it into my Spyder today; and back to my original post, what have people done to secure the battery? My concern is that since the mounting bracket clips are a little long, there is no lateral support preventing the battery from shifting. I'm...

Is a replacement Lithium Battery the way to go? How have you installed yours?

It's a 2023 FS-S bought last March 2023. It has the factory battery which is the Yuasa. I ran it all Spring/Summer to around 4,000 miles. I stopped riding it around Late October 23; put it away in my garage with a Battery Tender Jr on it. Now it's 2024, I broke it out late March with some rides...
