• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil Drain Plug Removal

I'm going to raise the rear to get more clearance, then a better shot at the beast with the vice grip. AND I'm going to bring it up to operating temp to heat the oil and therefore, maybe, the plug.....I may also try the cold chisel on it, seems soft enough to get a good bite. At this point...

    Oil Drain Plug Removal

I haven't quite given up but pretty close.....plastic piece out of the way, got on the plug with a vice-grip but no luck! Tried a little heat with a heat gun (afraid to get things very hot, wiring close by), still no luck. I've beat on it with a hammer, driven both a T40 and a 6mm into it...

    Oil Drain Plug Removal

I realize this is an old thread but I've discovered that at some point since 2019, they apparently replaced the 6mm hex drain plug with a T40 torx. Not any easier to get out though......I'm struggling now with the little bolts that hold the plastic cover on, one of them is so close to what...

The Pictures Are In For The New 2020 F3L.

Looks just like mine except for lack of chrome accents. The color was what got me. Now if Canada will just open the border by June, I'll be on my way to AK with mine.

What's in the OEM Tool Kit?

I had a '98 Ural; the tools were a necessity, especially the big hammer! I'm told they have improved....

Any recommendations for a hitch for 2019 F3 Limited

BigBikeParts now make their trailer hitch for F3T/LTD for $299.95. I'm thinking about one...........but then there's the trailer I don't have.............

F3L Driver seat - any more comfortable options?

I used to have Rick Mayer seats on my bikes but he quit making them. I have an AirHawk on my F3L and it works for me (worked for me on a trip to AK on a different bike as well.) Russell Daylong's are the undisputed best butt as was said, EXPENSIVE.

    2020 F3 Ltd Fuel Economy

As a former resident of Colorado (Durango, Gunnison and Denver) and a transplant to Texas, leaving behind kinfolk in both Durango and Denver, I had many opportunities to visit Colorado on both of my Yahmaha FJR1300's. I always got better mileage in the high country of Colorado than in Texas...

    2020 F3 Ltd Fuel Economy

No, just one question. I know how inaccurate the gas gauge is on ANY bike! I was speaking about the MPG computer (push joystick to the right twice....etc.) I have now started to calculate MPG the way I always have, dividing gallons by miles....oh wait a minute....maybe its miles divided by...

    2020 F3 Ltd Fuel Economy

With just over 1100 miles, I took it on a ride Sunday with my wife, about 120 miles. This was through the mountains, lots of 4th and 5th gear corners and a equal amount of 6th gear straights. When I checked the MPG's today, it showed 48.9 MPG for the trip/tank. Don't get me wrong, I'm not...

Pairing a Sena SM10 with F3 Ltd audio

OK, before someone flames me for not searching, I did look and the most recent info I found was 4 years old. I have to assume something has changed as that said the 'radio' did not have Bluetooth capabilities. I'm pretty sure the 2020 does as the settings are there to 'Add Helmet.' However...

What tools would you put in a Medium sized Tool Roll?

When I bought my Ryker, I didn't get the screwdriver that was supposed to be the 'tool kit'. So I didn't expect a tool kit on the F3 Ltd; was surprised to see on page 50, mention of the location of the tool kit. So I looked.....yeah, there's a place for one but nothing there. Call to dealer...

New F3 Limited, floor board issue

Happened to me...... But I ordered one from Ebay, will see how that works.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Sadly (not really), traded it for a Spyder F3 Limited. Ryker was great but wife likes the F3....happy wife, happy life (and the Limited is sweet!)

New F3 Limited, floor board issue

I rode my 2020 F3 Limited home yesterday, 180 miles (temps hit 113 at one point) and all was good but.... I'd like to move the floorboards back a bit. Looks easy enough on the left side but I don't see any adjustment for the brake rod on the right. UNLESS moving it forward, then maybe. Any...

    Brand New Ride

I couldn't find a '19 model so went all out for a 2020 Ltd. Picking it up tomorrow, traded my '19 Ryker Rally and my '09 FJR (with 96,000 miles) in on it. I'm stoked but have to ride it home 170 miles in 110 heat across some of the most desolate NM country there is! Oops, have to update my...

    Moving up?

Well it seems like a move up anyway....I am trading my 2009 FJR1300AE with 96000 miles and my 2019 Ryker Rally with 4200 miles in on a 2020 F3 Limited. The FJR has become too heavy for my old legs and I've got a lot of good out of it. The Ryker, on the other hand, was a blast! But my wife has...
