• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Looking for an RT

Howdy, I currently ride a Ryker Ralley but am seriously considering moving up to an RT. So the question is, which year (I don't think I can afford a 2020 model). When did they move from V-twin to tripple? I found a 2012 relatively close but it is a bit high, I think, at $13,000. And it is...

    1st oil change

I came to this thread in hopes of finding some info on how to access the drain bolts on a Rally but all I got was an argument between two people who are sure they are right. I DON'T CARE....

    Problem with Plasti Dip

Works for me Sorry it is on its nose but it is an iPhone photo. Two coats of white followed by two of 'Hi-Viz Yellow.' I've added more panels since photo.

    Ryker Rally Questions

I know this is an old thread but I'm going to try to change my front shock setting. Has anyone else been able to adjust these by hand?

    Four-way flashers on Ryker ?

    meaning it WILL work?

    Brake Light Modular Installed

I'm not sure which 'removable' panel you mean. The license plate light is secured with two screws; I don't see any easy way to remove the panel above it, between the tail lights.

Has Anyone Switched fron an F3-T to a Ryker?

Your brain went numb at mile 25! At one time I thought about buying a HD and was told to rent one first; I'd quickly get over the thought of ownership!

    Ryker Ryders, where are you????

I know there are at least two of us (Rykers...this is the Ryker forum isn't it?) in New Mexico, one in Alamogordo and mine in Ruidoso Downs.

    Rally USB Ports

This may or may not be pertinent to the initial post but they are only active with the ignition on.

Trip report - Indianapolis, Indiana through Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, Arizona, Colorado then home via Nebraska and Iowa.

Not sure which gravel road the Silverton, Colorado pic was taken on but I was over the passes (yes, there is more than one) between Durango and Silverton on June 14th and the rest area at the top of Molas was snowed closed. Kids were sledding on the hillside across the road! They had LOTS of...

    What's Wrong with the Ryker?

Thank you for your opinion, you are certainly welcome to it. But I believe the majority of us who post here like our Rykers. And though they are made by Can Am and have the same three wheel configuration, they are NOT Spyders. The Slingshot has the same three wheel configuration but it is not...

Nico 75 - Ryker knee pads

Why would you want to got THAT slow on the corners?! I'm not going to shell out $100 for them but would like to figure out something (we have lots of curves in the TX Hill Country and we ride em like we stole em!)

    Custom Painted 900 Ryker

I used Plasti Dip, cost was about $30. And I still have enough to do more panels, just waiting to decide if I want to.

    Swaybar on the Rally Edition

Not sure what exactly you mean by rough roads but the pavement on the 2.5 miles to my house from the main highway is ROUGH. The sway bar actually calmed the front end down on the rough sections. It still 'oscillates' but much better.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I agree with BajaRon, I forgot what a joke the fuel gauge is! I put 156 miles on, running in Eco mode and it took 4.58 gallons. The bars were all gone, the little light was glowing (WHY is it not brighter?) and a message "Low Fuel" flashed across the screen. Apparently it still had about 1...

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Just over 1,000 miles on it now and.... The Good: Plenty of power, simple, light, fun, inexpensive (relatively), easy to customize, lots of options The Bad: Susectible to wind, rough roads, pot holes Poor owner's manual (if you don't know how to ride a MC, take a class); written in Canadian...

    Shel Rotella T6

"Diesel Oil" needs to be good stuff to put up with the stress of a diesel engine going for 50,000 miles (or such) between changes! PS, I think he means "Y'all need to know about this stuff (T6)!"

What was your out the door price

$11,142.57 Rally (plus tax - taking mine out of state so will pay it at time of title/registration, about $350 in NM), no options.

    Shel Rotella T6

I got my $17.50 back already! And use the T6, full synth, cheaper by the 2.5 gallon!

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

I thought this thread was dead....finding it still alive, I decided to throw a little 'fuel' on the fire! I ordered the 'shop manual' and was reading through it tonight and came across this tidbit: "Gasoline Type: Regular Unleaded" "Minimum octane rating, 87 (No ethanol), 91 (10% ethanol)."...
