• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    No Competition for Can Am

No idea what happened, but every thread breaks down like this lol... to each their own I guess.

    No Competition for Can Am

I'll send you the videos when I'm done. There's a garage in Canada that changed out the gearing and got the Ryker to 150mph. You don't need a spyder to have fun, totally different platform. As far as spending money, If Kawasaki came out with an H2 powered reverse trike, yes I would spend...

    No Competition for Can Am

If another company came out with a performance reverse trike I would buy it. The fact that there is none means we have to go to the aftermarket to get what we want out of the Rykers. I think you missed the point on this one.

    No Competition for Can Am

We are breaking out the tools :) I'm working with BLRtuning and Treal performance. Just ordered their stage 2 CVT clutch. I'll be installing that soon and see how much awesomeness is gained by it. the aftermarket is great for Rykers, just wish it had a bit more from the factory.

    No Competition for Can Am

I was talking about this with a couple friends. What brought it up was that there were zero changes to the Ryker for 2024. If Can Am had any sort of competition in the reverse trike market, I don't think they'd be making the choices they are now. It just feels comfortable, safe choices because...

    Electric Spyder next?

so much this. They can't even fix what they have now. You think the BRP dealer network and whatever techs they have are going to want to deal with electric spyders or rykers. plus.. as everyone has stated allready. EV's are not actually better for the environment, then carbon foot print is...

Anyone tried to Enable Rally Mode using BUDS2?

I'd be really interested if this works. I have a Ryker sport and wouldn't mind having a Rally mode as well. from what I've read it opens up the traction and stability much more than sport mode does.

    Brake Performance of your bike?

Glad someone is finally looking at the braking on the Ryker. I'd be interested in trying these out when the time comes.

    Ryker turning left Issues

I got the Ryker back last night. I had a bunch of engine codes pointing to the steering sensor. they would reset it, take it for a ride and when they got back and checked it, it would be off again by a few degrees. they changed out the bushing on that sensor. Its fine for now, but will be...

    Ryker turning left Issues

it's an unwritten rule here not to explain how to actually do it. There's a couple different ways, I did the easy route just for testing. there's enough info out there on how to do it if you search hard enough in the right places.

    Ryker turning left Issues

so some updates. I disabled the vss and did some testing. I did not have any issues. Although I did get it up on two wheels. So the issue is 100% the VSS system or sensors involved with that system. It's currently at my dealer now to look at again. the tech told me he's got 3 other rykers right...

    Ryker turning left Issues

it's most definitely the VSS system. I took the speed sensors off and did some testing, got the wheel to raise off the ground pretty high on a turn. so it's not a mechanical issue. BRP really needs to sort their electronics out. so far left turns have been ok, seems not to freak out as much...

    Ryker turning left Issues

it's so weird. some corners it's fine. Took a nice sweeping left turn at 50mph.. no issues. another slow corner at 30mph.. it does the weird thing.. just doesn't make any sense. I'm going to remove the wheel sensors and do some testing. It'll be in limp mode, but I'll be able to see if it's a...

    My '2024 Model Reveal' Review

what's going to end up happening is another company will come out with a reverse trike with all the options we've been asking Can Am for years to include. and then you'll start getting people selling their spyders and rykers for this new trike. I don't think Can Am will change until they get...

    My '2024 Model Reveal' Review

I know I'm pretty critical of Can Am, but I do love the Ryker. I loved my Spyder too. You want to see the company and the product do well, but when they continue to miss the mark again and again, you have to start questioning it. Not sure if it's going to take a leadership change or what, but I...

    My '2024 Model Reveal' Review

All solid points. I see far more Rykers now than I do Spyders. I bet price has a big thing to do with that. I have a video coming out in a couple weeks about the dealer network and techs as well. It's a huge glaring problem and could easily disrupt sales or stale them completely. I don't...

    My '2024 Model Reveal' Review

To each their own.. but to repaint some wheels and fenders and say hey.. this is your new 2024 ryker is pretty crappy of them to do. just an overall flop of a reveal, but I guess some people enjoyed it regardless. at least I know for next year nothing will change either lol

    Ryker turning left Issues

So finally took it to the dealer. It was out of alignment. They did an alignment and reset the sensors. It's better than it was and much more ridable now. But something is still off, which is weird, because it tracked straight, and I don't see any abnormal tire wear. But hey, it's better, but...
