• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My 2020 RT-L is throwing a VSS Code on starting - could this be a weak Battery?

Yep, it's time, recently happened on my 2020 RTL.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Nice comment, I notice that slingmods has picked up the BajaRon Sway Bar, that's good for business.

    Thank You BajaRon... and Staff!

Oh my, that is the spitting image of my '20 RTL, hopefully I can get up to Ron's shop one of these days. Florida full water right now, but I can change the oil.

    Oil analysis @ 3 years & 9500 miles.

I hear you, and I may change my ever lovin' mind and buy some Amsoil from Ron, if he has it. Amsoil will give me peace of mind, but man, getting around that price... I know what you're thinking, you have a point, you really do! Alternator coupling, now there's something I had not considered...

Yes, gonna give it shot, been doing a lot of Google read, and I'm aware of the additional additive for MC's. If I feel any change, any change at all, I'll be doing a quick oil change and return to my Rotella T6 5w40.

I tend to agree with you Troop. I've been using Rotella T6 5w40, and that's because they don't sell 10w40 T6; I think the 5w40 will shear too easily in the Florida heat. So, my next change, soon, will be to Mobil1 10w40. That only comes in high mileage, but it should work in my 2020 RTL.

    First 'long' trip

I too have been thinking about the air hawk or wild ass, let us know how it works out for you. Although, the OEM is not bad, so it sort of breaks down of how much better the air hawk is for the $. I got the butt buffer, but found not any better than OEM.

Short reach bars on 2020+ RT

I changed to the short reach because it was more convenient for the wife who has her endorsement. Just a tad close for me, but not bad, not bad at all.

Hello Sledge, did you move from the Tampa Bay area? I have a friend that lives in TN, he loves it and the mountain riding.

    Reminiscing About Days Gone By...

Living in Florida and having been to many Daytona Bike Weeks back in the day, I was never surprised at the stories told. I bought a $6 can of beer and that girl came after me for a $6 tip. Did I pay up,oh yeah, I did.

Do you think we'll see Spyders with DCT soon?

CVT on the Spyder, I suppose BRP could do that, would I buy first edition? No way! In addition to the increased complexity, weight, cost, and waiting until the dealer could get parts and and time to fix a problem, oh well, you get my drift. I'm sort of old school and like my 2020 RTL the way...

Review: Lamonster 2020+ RT Mirror Locks

KX you have a point with Honda. It is rare to find a Honda dealer that will even touch a Honda Trike. On the other hand, Honda makes a long list of motorcycles, BRP makes what, the RT, RTL, Ryker, and maybe one I missed. These machines have not changed much over the years, and the same Rotax...

Anyone tried Mobil 1 10W40 Full Synthetic Oil?

Break out the pop corn, but simple question. Anyone using 10/40 MobileOne. Thinking about it in my 2020 RT Ltd, just thinking that's all.

    Who Uses Shell Rotella T-6

Thinking hard about 15/40, it's working for you? Tell how it's better for you than the 5/40 if you will. I know it's heavier, and may even reduce the mpg.....

    Mechanic Wanted in Florida
