• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Issues with Kenda Tires or Not?

Thanks Ron, if things work out and the creek don't rise, I'll give you a head's up. Cool story about the guy from Chicago, a nice day ride. I know I ain't getting out of the driveway without the Mrs. on the pillion, she loves to ride on that machine.

Issues with Kenda Tires or Not?

Ron, I keep following, you are a trooper, sharing look up and Canam Spyder knowledge. Thinking out loud, it's only 800 or so miles from Sebring FL to Greenville TN. Catch a Days Inn for 60 buck or so for over nighter, get everything done to my 20 RTL, then go sight seeing and mountain carving...

Issues with Kenda Tires or Not?

Oh yeah, looking forward to these results, I am particularly interested in the Knines but then the poll is not specific, maybe the comments will be helpful. 56K miles on Vredsteins, oh my! That is on big PR sales incentive.

Completed my semi annual "lie on my back and add air to the rear tire" routine

I'm 91, and I'm telling you, it ain't easy doing the 'lay down' method to check the air pressure. Jus sayin', anyone here that says it's an easy job, is not 91.

    What AirHawk model/size for 2020 RTL ?

Good point Bob, I do believe the smaller size would work better unless one has the larger behind.

Choosing between Spyder or Tri-Glide? Drawbacks for either?

Oh yeah, go with ARtraveler's comment, that covers the situation very nicely.

    What AirHawk model/size for 2020 RTL ?

Seems to be several large cruiser R's, can you be more specific, maybe a link to one you're using. Thanks.

    Nitpicking the 2024 RT

I dunno, haven't made up my mind yet, but at least it has a few lines. Now, for the seat strut???

F3 Ltd - what kind of luggage bags do you use? Or a rack & extra bag?

Back in the day when I was doing 'long rides', stuff bags worked for me. Hit the big box sport store, or Amazon for a source. Stuff bags are inexpensive, you can get lots of 'stuff' in them, easily for a week or more, even for two up. Rolling clothes works well. Stuff bags are a little more...

Spyder owners are stuck up - why is this so?? Please explain...

Well said Traveler. I shall continue my waving regimen. :-)

Spyder owners are stuck up - why is this so?? Please explain...

Maybe 'we' are making to big a thing of this wave or not wave. I'm not offended if I wave and the rider does not. Maybe he didn't see me or maybe a lot of things. But no matter, the other guy has a choice to wave or not wave. It's not really 'a thing' in the big scheme of life.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Hi Zig, Sebring here, I'm guessing around Lakeland for you.

I do like it Poppie, if I only lived closer to Springfield OH.

    Electric Spyder next?

Who's gonna be able to buy these EVs? Government subsidies? I don't see it, I just don't see it. But that's just me.

    Electric Spyder next?

Lee, I'll have jump in and second that comment on the hybrid Prius. I've owned and driven that vehicle as my only transportation, except my Spyder, since 2003. I now drive a 2019 hybrid Prius with just over 30K miles with an average 60.2 mpg, with no problems. Just change the oil every 6K...

    Electric Spyder next?

If BRP can not build a seat shock that works, how can they possibly build an electric three wheeler? It's somewhat of a joke, but jus sayin.
