• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bike Barn Trike Cover.

Setup the new Bike Barn Trike cover this past weekend,\. Decided to make a base using 2x4's and 5/4 deckboards. I wanted to keep the spyder off of the ground and yet not have too high of a ramp to drive into the cover. I also bought a bike barn heater to help control moisture during the changing...

Smell from bike, and it's not me....

I only noticed that smell the first 600 miles and it was gone. Smelled like it was coming from exhaust system. Now nothing smells out of the ordinary. I would have your belt checked for alignment and also make sure you are not riding the brakes, Do not rest your foot on brake pedal.

    2013 Rt S SE5 Fllorboards

A friend of mine messaged me that her floorboards are misaligned on her 2013 RT SE5. Are the factory floorboards adjustable? The floorboard that feels uneven is on the right side of the spyder. She has said that she has not stomped on the brakes in an emergency. So I need help diagnosing this...

    Spyder vs other trikes

Lean a little bit into the corner with the spyder as it will turn easier for you. I also put on a Lamonster sway bar, had a laser alignment done and installed fox podium front shocks now the spyder corners like it is on rails.

    Bike Barn Trike Cover.

Thanks Thunor for your comments. I have been researching on line and no negative comments about it. I just ordered one tonight so will see how spyder survives the winter in Bike Barn. I also ordered the heater and the floor. I plan on making a raised wooden shed floor to get the spyder up off of...

Can we have a reasonable discussion about this?

Instead of a factory option as it might add cost to the product as they might have to change how the assembly line runs. It could be a dealer installed accessory. My dealer already installs ISCI hand brake kits. Personally I don't want a hand brake ,I like the foot brake and how it operates now.

CB or Sena 20S? which is better?

You can have both the Sena 20S and get the bluetooth adapter Sena SR10 and a portable Cb Midland 75-822. This what I have on my 2015RT Limited. The cb range is good ,I use a longer antenna and it works OK. The only downside is when riding in the rain the CB is exposed unless you want to cover it...

    2014 RT windshield recall

Friends have a 2014 Spyder RT. They have found that if you put windshield not quite all the way up and not all the way down there is no problem with the screws. Others in our group have had problems with the windshield and they put windshield all the way up and all the way down.
