• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Watch those calories today... NOT! Eat up, everyone. Be thankful, and have a GREAT day! And Bob, I love the way that ugly naked turky of yours transformed into a great looking feast.

    Bad experience at the dealer

The world is a changing place - unfortunately, in some areas, it's not changing for the better. I think you are fortunate to live where you do. I've heard tell that where you live, the police are still occupied with solving the crime of who stole Rib Van Winkle's gun while he slept. Is that...

    This Is So Cool

Gotta say, Bob, THAT is the ugliest turkey I have ever seen. Looks tasty, though.

    Your old bikes?

1995 Honda Helix 250cc (Bought it on a "whim", gave it away in 2014) Kawasaki Vulcan 750 (My first motorcycle) 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic (Big Bore V-twin. Low slung, heavy, and loads of fun to ride.) 2001 Yamaha Royal Star Venture (Huge Touring Bike with a V-four. Rode it for 12...

    Bad experience at the dealer

I'm thinking that if your Spyder had been stolen while under your dealer's care and custody, THEY would have had to replace it under their insurance policy. Still, it would have been a pain to deal with. :sour:

Maybe thinking of trading in my 2015 FS3 for a watercraft at dealership

I don't have any advise or suggestions, and you seem to have your plan together anyway. I just want to wish you the best of luck in your negotiation of a fair price. Oh wait, I do have a suggestion... If you are NOT going to trade it, and if you have some time, why not see if you can sell...

What are the advantages of this Seafoam additive?

Ris, welcome to the forum. :welcome: I know - spell checkers can REALLY mess you up when you're not looking. :sour: But, just so you know, you can edit or delete any message you post at any time. Just click on the "Edit Post" button under the message. Using "Advanced Mode" you can also...

Alwasy get wet when it rains

Reason #57 Reason #57 why NOT to trade my RT for an F3. Before this thread I only had 56 reasons. ;)

What are the advantages of this Seafoam additive?

Huh? Well, NOW I'm confused. Was it seafood, as in your first post, or Seafoam, as in your second post, that made your generator run good?

    Unseen Disability's

I've got more than a couple of them, too. Used to also have cancer, but luckily I got rid of that one BEFORE it became debilitating. I can live with the others - just takes a bit of medicine, and a slower pace.

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

Think of it this way... You have now graduated into the LARGEST age category of Spyder owners. You've now made top billing. Dwayne, you and I share that 18% category. :sour: Oh, to be YOUNG again like Denman. ;)

    What tire pressure?

FWIW, I agree with Mike and Peter and others who say that the "recommended" 28 psi is way too much for an automotive tire which has a much stronger sidewall than the OEM Kendra. I've been running my Yokohama at 24 psi, and have just reduced it to 22 psi to see how that does. (When I first had...

This is what I asked Bob D...

Fantastic! That is GREAT news. I was away from home most all day today, but also thinking about your situation. I was about to offer you a plan I came up with that might work, but when I checked into the forum, I see you have it resolved already. I agree that the email you received from the...

This is what I asked Bob D...

Thanks for posting this, Ron. Obviously, you must have been parking where other employees park their cars up until now. Is the hospital saying that you can no longer do that? If so, that sounds extremely unreasonable. What is the reason they have given for that new policy? I'm thinking that...

    Seat belt!

THIS is why you don't want a seat belt on your Spyder... Here's another... FWIW, at least one of our forum members owes his life to NOT having a seat belt on his Spyder. I remember reading this post from "RetiredCPO" two years ago. (More details later in the thread.) Looking at the picture...

    Bob D. I have a question....

Mike, I've always gone by the assumption that no one should park a motorcycle in a restricted area, including a handicapped parking spot, unless they have the legal right to do so. If a handicapped Spyder rider parks in a handicapped parking space and gets ticketed because he doesn't have his...

    Bob D. I have a question....

Strange Post Have to say, that was a really strange post. ;) Almost as bad as the 2-word posts that frequent the forum that simply say, "PM sent". I've never understood why anyone would post that. The one who gets the PM KNOWS they got a PM, without reading about it in the open forum...
