• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chances of a F3 revision in the next year or two?

I could be wrong but I think a lot of the "improvements" or changes to the RT were to make it more like the F3 is terms of chassis, common parts, etc.

    Ryker owners happy with Kendas?

4600 miles on my Rally and no issues with the tires. Ride both paved and dirt roads and the bike is super smooth at all speeds. Spyder has just under 25K miles. Always used Kenda tires. No issues there either. Only issue with the Spyder is belt vibration at certain speed/rpm areas.

    CVT belt life

The belt may last longer than 12K miles and that would most likely depend on a number of factors. The problem as I see it is this. If the belt "breaks" while you're riding it would require a tow. This isn't something you're going to fix on the side of the road. Changing the actual belt is an...

top speed of the Ryker 900

Nothing wrong with some highspeed running while out riding. I do it quite often.

    Drive belt

Just to switch us the conversation a bit. I doubt many people will be putting 120K miles on their Ryker before selling for something else. With the amount of time I have and the seasonal riding I do it would take me about 3 years to put 12K miles on. I've had my Spyder for 7 years and it has...

    Drive belt

Right, none of the PowerSports (Polaris, Cat, Ski-doo, Yamaha) make their own drive belts. Why would they. They also don't make their own tracks, boggie wheels, hyfax slides, ski wear bars, nuts, bolts, shocks, springs, clutches, etc......They buy it from vendors. Lots of these sleds, ATV's...

Snowmobile (ryker) belts are commonly manufactured by 3rd parties to fit various sizes. Quick search A Dayco XTX5034 belt that matches the BRP 571 is about $90. The Ultimax XS851 belt matches the BRP 571 is about $90

    Drive belt

You could probably find it cheaper if you shop around a bit but it will still be fairly expensive. You can also buy 3rd party, for example Dayco or Gates. They are usually cheaper.....just not OEM.

    Drive belt

Yes, that's the drive belt. Transfers power between the primary and secondary clutches. Part # for the Rally is 417300571 Belt life varies based on a bunch of things. I was actually surprised the change interval is 12K miles. I thought it would be sooner. On a snowmobile the belt is easily...

Is the oem drive belt carbon fiber

Problem is...... There is no easy way to inspect the belt. After you do all the work required for inspection you might as well just change it. Belts are made of Kevlar.

2020 Can Am Ryker Rally Wheels (Trade/Sale)

Just make sure you trade the rims and tires. Then you have no size issues. I believe the overall Dia of the tire and rim come out the same on the rally and non rally versions. I'm skeptical the rally rims are any stronger?

    Wheel nut recall

The recall only covered 2019 Rykers in a certain date range. I'm not sure what that range was but the first ones built were not affected.

Does warranty cover rust on wheel locks?

The center hub the wheel mounts on is steel. Might even be cast. At any rate its not coated with anything and it does rust. I noticed for 2020 BRP has some plastic covers for the hub. I'm sure they would fit on a 2019.
