• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lost Front Sprocket.....AGAIN!

The splines on the sprocket have sheared off. The first time it failed I was pulling out of my subdivision and not in real traffic. Today was a different experience as I was in the fast lane two or three back at a stop light. When the light changed everything started moving and everyone was in...

    Lost Front Sprocket.....AGAIN!

Belt vibration was one of the things I wondered about the first time around as well. This time I had a damper that was installed shortly after the sprocket failure. Belt vibration was almost non-existent. After seeing the BRP style damper failures I have been keeping a close eye on mine but so...

    Lost Front Sprocket.....AGAIN!

I was hoping that the August replacement was the last as well. It was the new sprocket. Glad to see you have gotten a good amount of miles on your replacement. CJ JAX

    Lost Front Sprocket.....AGAIN!

Left on the side of the road today. By my 2015 F3s Spyder but not my riding buddies. I lost the front sprocket again. Less than a year after the first replacement and with only 7,300 miles. At least the first one made it for 8700 miles. REALLY hope this is not a trend @BRPCARES because I love my...

To the member with the Chinese ($150) waterproof gps ....

Not sure if you were thinking of my posts or if someone else had purchased a unit (someone else maybe as mine was about $100 as well). Mine is Android based though so I can't help with getting rid of Windows CE. CJ JAX

YOUR WINDSHIELD CHOICE ON F3? Gustaffson, Madstad, Rifle, California Scientific, F4

I have the Gustaffon on my 2015 F3s. I like the fact that it fits the OEM Blue Ridge brackets so it maintains an OEM look. I have their middle size and am 5'10". I got it from someone taller that decided they wanted a taller shield. You will find that everyone with an aftermarket screen has...

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Shadowfax - Gandalf's Steed from Lord of the Rings. Shadowfax was "the Lord of all horses". He was a descendant of Felaróf, of the race of the long-lived Mearas, the greatest horses of Middle-earth. Shadowfax was capable of comprehending human speech and was said to run faster than the wind...

Black Holes, missing socks, and safe places. (Thanks for the save Spyderpops!)

What do they all have in common you ask/ Missing items, be it planets, time, socks, or important things. Hopefully you have never lost a planet but who hasn't lost a sock? Either never to be seen again or to come unceremoniously a pant leg or a skirt (well not me personally but you get the...

Okay so it was the molded plastic piece. Still not good but better than the metal mount. CJ JAX

    Matuza Bags problems

So now I'm confused. Was it the catch on the mount frame or the latch in the bag that broke? CJ JAX

    Mutazu bags repair done

Looks good and you should be fine. I checked mine again and no sign of wear. I will probably add this to my regular check list and if I hear of others having the problem look at remaking the bag side out of metal or a solid piece of pfte. CJ JAX

    Matuza Bags problems

True but then $300 all in for the Matuza is significantly less than the Givis as well. The mount brackets are more than up to the test. The weak link is the catch mounted in the bag, not a very sturdy piece. Had there been a set of mounts for the F3 that didn't require welding or serious...

    Matuza Bags problems

Thanks for the heads up and sorry to hear you are having a problem. I got mine direct from the mfg but can't see why there would be any difference. I have been using them (heavily at times) with no ill effects. I just took a look and everything looks fine. Do you remove yours frequently? I think...

$150 Android based Waterproof Motorcycle GPS. Fact or Fantasy

I am liking it so far. It comes with iGo nav software installed but since it is Android based you can load up a variety of different GPS programs. I tried the TomTom Go app but it is a subscription and would be good on a cell phone but the extra features are wasted so I removed it. I am...

    303 Aerospace UV Protector

Started using it in 1997 on my BMW Z3 and have used it ever since on plastics, fabrics, and tires. Look mom, no fading black plastics. Great UV protection.

    2015 F3 fender mount broke

Hopefully it is warranty. What style do you have? I don't see the screws that secure the upper ridge with reflectors so I'm guessing yours has the single groove running down the middle. if it does have the upper piece you could run a couple of screws/bolts down from the top to secure it as they...
