• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Puddle of fluid....uh oh

AFSpyder - like your avatar. Reminds me of good days in SAC. I started in Titan II's, pumping fuel, cross trained into the command post career field, and flew a tour on Looking Glass as an Airborne Battle Staff member. Good times - a shame they disbanded the best damn command the USAF ever...

    On the way to Spyderfest

Guess I'll have to do SpyderFest vicariously through others, this year. I was really impressed with the help that Murphy Brown received - but not a bit surprised. When I saw the first post on facebook, I was immediately on SpyderCodes, looking for someone in Spyders to The Rescue who might be...

More crazyness in FL...Bikes vs BMW

All we have is assumptions. What it looked like to me, was that the cage was pulling into the left lane, saw the bike that was running the video, approaching fast, and moved back into the right lane to let him pass. The bike in the right lane was approaching way too fast, and tried to pass the...

Could This Crash Have Been Avoided

From the article: "At this moment, if the rider who is passing the dog flashes his brake lights and/or puts an arm up to alert the following riders, this becomes the world’s most boring GoPro video. But he doesn’t. Come on, guys. You're riding with friends. Help them out." I mentioned that...

    Loose screws in RTS dash

Mine are all replacements - not because they came loose, but because I removed them once, and one disappeared down a black hole by the handlebars! - I bought four new ones because I couldn't find a replacement with the same style head. :banghead:

:agree: - rubber hoses can leak for a variety of reasons, also, purge valves are cheaply made and do go bad.

    What's your opinion ?

Everyone seems to be assuming the worst regarding this dealer - Regarding the "saving money" argument about hazardous waste disposal, if he has to pay to dispose of that stuff, so do you, because most places add a "hazardous waster disposal fee" to the bill. So there are a couple very valid...

I'm really terrible with names but

That is why I did a career in the military - quick look, and I could call anyone by their rank and name - it hid the fact that I sucked at remembering names!

    Winchester recall.

I had a similar issue occur with a factory reconditioned Czech CZ 52 pistol. When I got it, I tore it down and cleaned it, thoroughly, since it had been in storage in Czechoslovakia since being reconditioned in the 80's. I took it to the range, and put a magazine in. When I pulled back...

A good MC rider online tool

I have RadarNow! on my Android phone - works great when on a long trip - I can see what is ahead and gear up properly if I see rain on the radar in my path

    Manual vs automatic transmission.

I'm hardly a 'brand new rider" - been riding since the mid-60's. I love the SE shifter. As for engine braking, I hate to burst your bubble, but you can do that with the SE as well - all you need do is downshift.

+1 on the Kumho Ecsta AST. I've been very satisfied with mine. I have over 14K on it. I'll probably have to replace it this summer, though.
