• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My crashed Ninja

Glad to hear that you are healing up well. I see so many riders with minimal to no protection. I cringe when I see someone ride past with shorts, T-shirt and running shoes. These people have obviously been lucky to never had a crash on their bikes. I had one just after I got my first bike...

Do you have a helmet on yourl Christmas list?

The Schuberth C3 Pro Woman that I bought my wife a few years ago was good quality except for the fact that it leaked when it rained. She got fed up with it and we just bought her a HJC modular. She would not buy one again.

    Where are the Rykers?

My dealer has a Rally Edition on his showroom floor. Sat on it and didn't like it. But, there were a few guys in their 20's that were really interested in it. My dealer said that he has sold quite a few of them since he got it in.

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

Please read and understand before commenting. I said 'most touring models'. Belts have been plagued with problems as well. Just asks the folks here.

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

On the contrary, shaft drive on motorcycles are a big deal. Pretty much most touring models have it and a fair number of cruisers as well. The sport bikes don't have it because of the HP lost using shaft. Shaft drive is the best and least maintenance of the drive trains available.

Now Rykers On The Floor At Nash Powersports in Mesa (Phoenix) AZ

Our dealer, just up the road from us, has a Ryker Rally Edition on his showroom floor. My wife and I sat on it and it took us all of 10 seconds for us to dismiss it. She still prefers her F3L in orange that she ordered. I can see how it would appeal to a younger crowd though. There were...

Installation cost for Baja Ron Sawy Bar

If you can get a couple of ATV ramps. Put them on a trailer, or something solid about 2 feet off the ground and drive the bike onto it. Put the parking brake and chock the back wheel and then do it yourself. I have changed 4 of them this way without any issues.

    possible purchase

My wife had a STL, for about a year. Sold it because the ergonomics hurt her back, so we traded it for a F3S. I have a Goldwing Valkyrie and she would have to stop twice for gas for every once I needed gas. It was a hog on fuel. She has a F3 now and we both stop for gas at the same time now...

    a Ryker for 2up & a lot of luggage ??

I would not use the Ryker for a turing machine like the way you want to use it you'd be far better off getting an F3T or F3L. The Ryker will not handle that much weight on it for any kind of distance. That's like trying to pull a large camping trailer with an F-150 with the four cylinder in it...

Planning a ride for next year (Maine to NY)

Really good advice. I have been to all of the places mentioned by Lin and Bob L and all are nice rides. I just think that 4 days is not enough time. You will need at least a week to do a good ride.
