• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check out this Belt alignment tool - might help someone...

Ron, the guys I mentioned were using it on Harley XR1200s with belt drive. Me I have a Ryker, so I don't have a problem LOL. Just thought someone might find it useful.

Check out this Belt alignment tool - might help someone...

I have seen many on here having problems getting their belt lined up right. Some friends on another forum use this on the chains of race bikes and the belts on their street bikes (Harleys)...

Has anyone seen or have info on this electric Ryker shifter mod?

gbyoung2, how did you force the gap open. Having a devil of a time getting mine back on. tried a screwdriver, but no dice. Might help if my hand worked right.

Has anyone seen or have info on this electric Ryker shifter mod?

I found it was easier to get at after I removed the airbox. A 5mm screwdriver bit and hook a 1/4" wrench on the end will get in there. I have a small Mastercraft kit that has a small gear wrench with a bunch of bits.

Sound Cameras will be installed in Montgomery County, Md.

Mikey, I used to watch a TV show called Northwoods Law. The Maine Game Wardens on that show always said it was illegal to run anything but a stock exhaust on quads, snowmobiles, side by sides... Don't know if it was true or not.

Review: The Can-Am Ryker... A Great Ride!

Just think of all the upgrades you can do a Ryker with the money you saved. LOL Of course all bikes are just "STARTER KITS". All I can say for sure is that I am having a blast with my Ryker.

Bummed out waiting for a part

vito, don't think Harley is any better. I have waited for parts to many times than I care to remember. One tine my bike was in the shop from May till August waiting for a fuel pump, so much for ridding season. The bike was still under warranty.

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

Back in the 70's I worked at a service centre on the Trans Canada pumping gas (remember that). We would be busy as hell, and someone would decide they would go for lunch and leave their car at the pumps. We would politely ask them to stay with their car, telling them that other people needed...

Any comparisons on Ryder Passenger Comfort Seat vs Ryker Sport style seats?

The comfort passenger seat matches your stock Rally seat that is the thicker comfort seat. The comfort passenger seat is longer wider and thicker. I put both seats on my '22 Sport. Bruce

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

The officer only had a problem with the Brake Free being attached to the helmet, not with the BrakeFree. The gentleman who I talked fastened his to his jacket. Maybe there is a law here about attaching things to your helmet.

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

Thanks AR, I agree that it is a great device, and the taillights on a Ryker are very low. I have already added another taillight under the seat. The Brake Free was on my Christmas wish list. As I said in my first post, I only got concerned after talking to the gentleman who was stopped by the...

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

So I took Ron's advice and contacted Brake Free, and told them the story, here is what got back. Thanks for reaching out. We do have a customer who is a Motorcycle Safety consultant and retired Police MC Instructor, and crash investigator in Canada and has been introducing Brake Free to his...

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

The police officer didn't have problem with Brake Free itself, but with it being attached to the helmet. This gentleman attached his to his jacket. Not a good idea in my mind, would hurt like hell in a crash. I really like the idea of the Brake Free because the Ryker slows quickly without using...

Anyone here been stopped for using a Brake Free unit?

Just wondering if anyone here has been stopped for using a Brake Free. Reason for asking is, I seen a gentleman with one attached to his jacket. I asked him how he liked the Brake Free and why was it attached to his jacket. He said he really like it, but he and his friends were stopped by the...
