• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Brake Paddle Question

Try refinedcycle.com. They have an extension that puts the pedal in front of the floorboard. Not sure of safety but it seems to work. YMMV.

    Highway pegs

I had these floorboards on my 2011 RT replacing the pegs. I went with the ones w/o the turn-ups in front. I highly recommend them and the company.

    2016 RT and Floorboards

Bob: What is this secret braking procedure?? Is it different than lifting foot and pressing down? My issue is the lifting part, If I could just kind of slide my foot over the brake pad with minimal lifting, I'd be okay. Right now, I have to lift my foot completely off the floorboard to apply...

    2016 RT and Floorboards

I just bought a 2016 Spyder RT-S with OEM floorboards. I've get a problem with having to lift my leg to apply the brake. The pedal was closer to the floorboard on my 2011 and I had a knee injury. Is there a way to raise the floorboards to lessen the distance and still be safe? Thanks for any...

    2011 Spyder RT won't start

Thank you all for your input. The gauges shouldn't have affected starting, gauges went back in the same holes as they came out. They work again as intended. The flooded fix seemed to have worked. Cranked it with the throttle open for 10-15 seconds, let go and tried again and it almost...

    2011 Spyder RT won't start

I'll try the open throttle tonight but when I tried to start it this morning, I didn't even touch the throttle, just the starter button. Thanks again. Dave

    2011 Spyder RT won't start

Checked the KILL switch multiple times. If it's ON, nothing happens. If it's OFF, starter cranks trying to start it but no joy. I'm at a loss.

    2011 Spyder RT won't start

Thanks for the reply. It is not the original battery, the one was replaced last year with this new one. There is a full charge on the battery, no clicking sound or anything that means a low or dead battery. It cranks quite well just no start. You press the starter button and it tries to start...

    2011 Spyder RT won't start

I have a 2011 Spyder RT-AC. I'm planning on possibly parting with the bike for a new one so I reinstalled the analog gauges, fuel on left and temp on right. I get a fuel reading cold so I know they work again. Now the Spyder will not start. It tries but will not catch. I have lights, a charged...

Oil leaking Onto floor "2011 RT"

Hi. I had an oil stain on my garage floor from my SE5. Problem turned out to be a missing o-ring on the dipstick. Just a thought.

BRP trailer hitch vs. Show Chrome trailer hitch

Keith: I'm not sure about the Doc Humphries but I mounted the Show Chrome hitch rack on an non-BRP hitch and it worked. The rack mounts with a plate that connects under the trailer ball ( I used a 3/4" bolt instead) and the rack rails mounts to it. Used it for a 800 mile trip with a Tupperware...

    Gun Question....

I don't have that specific model but I've found that the springs in most compact handguns are pretty stiff. The best one I've tried was a PK380 from Walther. The 9s and 45s are all stiff for one hand operation. Maybe it's time for a good revolver with speedloaders or moonclips for faster...

    My Sypder RT is hissing

I guess knowing model does help, I have a 2011 RT-AC. No rattlesnake was included so I guess it's the ACS system. Thanks.

    My Sypder RT is hissing

I'm a relatively new owner. I was moving my Spyder slowly out of the garage yesterday without earplugs and helmet and I heard it hissing at me. My passenger commented that she has heard the hiss before during a ride. Is this normal? I know it does have an air shock which seems to be holding...
