• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Travel question

I belong to Choice Hotels Club. 800 number. Mostly mid price chain motels. When I was able, I used to ride until I was a hour or so from stopping, then call the 800 number and tell what you want in a room. I ran into "full up" a couple times. the advantage in this way is, get the paper map out...

Flag Holder for a 2013 RTL

I would not use a antenna flag, would probably break antenna, seen it happen a lot with gold Wings. My choice would be the ICSC post right this one. the tall version is out of the way for a full cover and I had mine on for 10,00 miles or so. This mounts on the licence plate holder. I am not sure...

    More stupidity

This is great, and probably what the PC crowd wants. If the protesters stay from the mountain, you will have a better class of visitors present.

    Vietnam Vets Traveling Tribute

I have been honored to escort the Moving Wall several times, when I was very active. Each time is a new time and each time it is a sad time. I have to the Wall in DC three times. It took a long time before I went the first time, but it helps. Suggest a friend go with you if you do not want to...

I am not sure at this point if I have a problem with my 2010 RT or not. Rode it on a really warn day, 90 and the heat on the side panels, glove compartment and gas tank were untouchable. Just stated this spring. dealer said, they could find nothing wrong and BUDS did not indicate over heating...

    Seats again?

This subject is kind of like who makes the best coffee? I changed the stock RT seat for a comfort one because of the set back. I like both. Some seats feel terrible at first, then 60 miles down the road they feel great or go the other way. Oldmanzues

Something is not right here. Spyders do not come with windshield wipers. I kind of remember the makers of the F-4 windshield put wipers on a Gold wing. Do not remember who makes the F-4 shield. Oldmazues

HowTo: Replace the Windsheld Arm with Billet Aluminum Arm.

I do not think so. He looked it up in his Service manual. According to him, there have been two upgrades since the original, no idea what they were except to increase the cost from 400 or so to 600 for the part. Apparently the whole assembly has to be replaced, including a electrical module. I...
