• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Trailer coupling

:agree: with using the pin and checking the tightness of the ball to coupler each time you use the trailer. My dad learded the hard way to check that the coupler was secure. We had a boat pop off the ball one time. Luckily, we were not traveling very fast and the chains saved us. I would add...

    Challenging road

Why do you consider dangerous? Is it due to the sate of the road surface, the number of cars or the number of corners you have to maneuver? I have not ridden as yet, but have looked at roads in that area, especially when Spyderfest was hosted in Cuba.

:agree: I have a friend that has one mounted and he loves it. I am about to pull the trigger on one myself. Well built and no mods to install it. The longer screws and spaces are provided as part of the kit.

    Engine Stop Switch -- Really?

:agree: Actually watched a video of a :spyder2: being repo'ed. The guy had the key but could not figure out how to get the thing started. The previous owner just sat back and laughed. They finally figured it out, but it too a while.

Combining scuba diving and ridding a Spyder - Freedom trailer

Very cool. I used to dive when I lived in the Seattle area. Beautiful area with plenty of places to investigate. Unfortunately, I moved and started a family. Priorities changed at that point. I would have loved having the Spyder there to make my runs. Keep it up as long as you can.....

really wonder what is wrong with people

I still don't understand your rationale for the linkage. All three of these were put in place to limit government control over your life. The second amendment was so arms could not be taken away from ordinary citizens. The reason for that is plainly stated in the opening of that amendment...

really wonder what is wrong with people

I absolutely agree with the 2nd amendment and am a strong believer in it. I also have not issue with the 3rd amendment. Both of those support the my point of a state sanctioned church at the time and their desire to not allow that in the colonies. Beyond that, I am not sure what your point is...

really wonder what is wrong with people

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on that second point. People have carried separation of church and state in an unintended direction. I believe the intent was the government may not institute a sanctioned religion such as was the case in England at the time. Anyway, not trying to...

I have wondered that myself. I would be interested to hear from those that have removed a decal after it has been affixed for a period of time.

    Can Am Stinger trailer

Does the RS have more ground clearance than the RT? One way to get around that is to build some blocks that the front tires could ride over until the back tire is on the ramp and clearance is no longer an issue. I have seen others do that to load their Spyders on other types of trailers.

    Ear Plugs

My wife has the same issue with her ears canal being very small. We had trouble finding a good earplug to fit her well. I bought a pair of FUZE earphones for her and they actually work pretty well. They allow her to plug into her SENA headset so she can hear me and with the goop that you put...

Who cares how much money you spent

:agree: and am baffled, confused, bewildered and befuddled. What is this thread about. Certainly going to be one that I "ignore" in the future. I will not justify how I spend my money to anyone other than my wife. Other will think what they will. Too many snowflakes in this wold as it is...
